    This is a very easy way of chlorinating your pool but you will need to Shock it every couple of weeks with another product as you can’t control how fast/slow the chlorine dissolves in your pool. I used to use granules but found them a bit toxic but I must admit I’ll be returning to granules as I could control the chlorine levels much better and never had cloudy water.

    Bought these for the last couple of seasons with no problems. This season, they appear to have changed. Used to be blue and white, now just pure white. Now get lumps of chlorine stuck in the filter after 1-2 days, only way to solve is to do a backwash to clear the E02 error. This has obviously come about I assume as to changing the chemicals inside. Clearly doesn’t work. Now opted for a liquid version which works fine. Left with nearly a full tub of Chlorine blocks that are useless

    Not as easy as I had hoped.I had got in the habit of adjusting chlorine granules according to the usage and could usually guess when I got out how much to add so that my hot tub was ready the next day again. I still checked the levels everyday but rarely had to alter much.These are supposed to do everything – chlorinate, clarify, stabilise and have an inbuilt pH plus. Just stick one tablet in a floater and away you go.And it keeps my hot tub levels OK. But its not a set and forget.I have the official bestway floater and even on the most closed aperture it tends to over clorinate and I have to take it out occasionally.I have also had two instances of the water going cloudy after about 2 weeks, requiring a refill, which makes me think the clarifying part isn’t great.Overall, I think I’ll stick to granules next time.

    I’ve tried a few tubs of these but I haven’t had any luck with them. They just don’t seem to have any effect on my chlorine levels (which are non-existent) despite filling the dispenser on my filter cartridge. I’ve had to drain the pool several times now due to poor water quality and this just didn’t happen with my previous brand of chlorine tablets. I am using this with a 12ft x 8ft hyrdropool, set at about 36deg in a very hard water area. Maybe one or all of these points is a factor in their performance.

    These are the best tablets I have used but I have to ask myself why they need to be so pricey. Parcel arrived on time and the item matches the description. I tried a few others in the past but keep coming back to these, which probably says enough!

    Easy to use with floating dispenser. Keep eye on dispenser as dissolves quite quickly if hot weather. I would not use this in pool without adding the dissolved grain type chlorine but good to know that pool always getting a trickle of chlorine between regular dosses.

    not as good as the granules. also the box which they are housed in was open so when we took the outer postal packaging off we were nearly gassed out by chlorine fumes. It is supposed to be child locked but it is clearly faulty and the lid has to be taped on. a big health and safety issue we would have thought
