Think that it should be stated on the product page that this is the case and then you have a choice.     They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. What can I say about the tablets they come in a big plastic tub which will lats along time at the rate of one tablet a week.     We purchased for an 8ft pool used over the summer. This takes 1 chlorine table (as supplied) and lasted a little over a week before being replaced. It took about a week of being in the pool for us to see any type of result on the test strips which are themselves terrible, they don’t match up to the chart well at all.The dispenser itself does the job. There is a twist bottom to expand or reduce the dispenser size and it seemed to work OK in our pool. Clearly a cheaper dispenser but for the money I wasn’t expecting something top quality.Happy with purchase.

    To save a load of money, I put 2 Jacuzzi size Chlorine tablets in this old toilet dispenser, and they last for weeks helping to keep the bowl clean. A tub of 50 tablets costs a fraction of the price for the normal cleaner tabs.VERY IMPORTANT: Don’t do this if you have pets or children. Do not put them into the cistern as this may damage the rubber parts and seals.

    I purchased these for our hot tub. I had scoured many sites looking for good value and here had the best deal. They arrived really quickly and I am very pleased with them. Hot tubs can be tricky getting the chemical balance, but these tablets make it super simple. I have a ‘floaty’ dispenser so these are perfect. I put 2 tablets in every 5 days or so and my water is crystal clear and always has that mild bleach smell, that smells clean. I dip test it every day and it seems to always keep in balance, so highly recommend using these. We as a family have had no skin irritations, like some other chemicals can cause.

    Great gadget for my pool. I am not sure how many litres my pool is but it is round and takes about an hour and a half to fill and when I am sat in it, it reaches my chest. I used this chlorine dispenser along with the strips to check that the level of chlorine was right and have found it has kept my pool clean for two weeks. I have decided to pour the water out after this time but the chlorine has kept it clean and the children have really enjoyed it.

    We put one of these in a floater in our 4-man inflateable spa (800 litres) and it keeps the chlorine levels well, maybe slightly high. After each refill we shock the water with 28? baby sterilising tabs then add one of these to maintain levels.Combined with some decent test strips, this has solved all the problems we initially had when we bought the spa.EDIT: I was about to re-order when I noticed the price has tripled sine my purchase. Now looking elsewhere, adjusted from 5 to 2 stars accordingly…

Cheaper than the DeepBlue version by a fiver albeit the price of all tablets has gone up by 33 due to COVID. everyone staying at home buying a hot tub instead of holidaying equals price increases unfortunately it seems.

    I brought these Chlorine tablets for my Canadian Spa. I normally use the liquid. But I ran out of it so I brought this instead. You need to put the tablets in a floater otherwise they sink to the bottom. And is way to contrated. If you buy these for your Spa Hot Tub buy a floater just beware if you have young children these might not be suitable as children can always touch or play with the floater. I highly recommend you getting the Chlorine liquid. If you want to be sure your Spa Hot Tub is safe to use within a hour.

    Seems to work on a very slow release method, as with the other reviewer the tablet is there the next morning, which brings me onto the big problem with this product. You get no instructions. Given you are dealing with Chlorine, most likely in a pool that kids will be playing in, having some sort of guide as to how much to use, what to expect etc would be nice. My guard was up immediately when the chlorine tablets arrived in a resealable plastic bag the likes of which you pick up in a supermarket. I would consider buying one of the more expensive models if im honest.

    This product did not get delivered on its estimated delivery date. But I assume that it was the postal services fault. I contacted the company and they were more than helpful when immediately sending a replacement. The product itself is exactly as advertised, a very simple, but effective device. The tablets are of great quality and come in a separate resealable bag but the smell is still pretty strong. 1 tablet has kept my 10 ft swimming pool crystal clear for a week at the time of writing this. Would greatly recommend.

    Last year got our 10ft pool with whole load of chemicals. Increase ph, decrease ph, chlorine etc… Still went green. Added this to the pool this year and so much easier Chlorine levels seem to stabilise and other than algacide once in a while weve not had any issues. Admittedly, did change filter once more than last year, but Id say weve left it pretty much to its own devices and its been fine. Emptied last week for winter and still crystal clear Last year and this pool left for a week and turned green last year, stayed clear this year.Definitely recommend and will get tablets again for next year.
