    First and last time I use this brand. I put 3-4 tables into the fooater and there is 0 chlorine in water an any time. Previously used different brand and no issues with 1-2 tablets in. This time water is constantly cloudy and I am getting tired of trying to keeping it in good shape. I have to add chlorine powder every day as tablets seem to do nothing.

    These are good tablets but be careful as I have a 3800L pool (10ft) and I used 3 which sent the chlorine level off the scale! Really one per day ince you have fully shocked and treated the pool is enough. It’s stabilised so will be better than the unstabilised chlorine initial shock dose at stopping the chlorine levels being burned off in the elements. Now I have the hang of it al I have bought large qtys of the powder form so I can save money as the tablets are expensive long term.

We have a 6ft Intex pool, so far I’ve put one tablet in the dispenser and had it in one day, sadly due to rain the kids haven’t used the pool since putting it in, so I haven’t tested the chlorine level.     set the dispenser on level 2 (2 open gaps) and put a pill in, 12 hours later most of the pill still in the dispenser and water was chlorinated without being overbearing (couldn’t be bothered to test with supplied strips maybe do that once a week and adjust the settings appropriately, p.s. using a 10′ pool pump to circulate water, not the greatest construction but it does the job, ideal for low usage home use!

    When the tub is opened the tablets are in a sealed plastic bag and there is a very overpowering chlorine smell so be very careful and make sure the room is ventilated where they are stored. It’s the first time I’ve used this brand and I don’t use them for a hot tub. I put a couple in the toilet bowl so the fact that they are large and dissolve slowly is good but I also usually use a different brand and they are “chlorine / detergent” tablets for hot tubs , paddling pools and washing , floors or in the washer . I couldn’t use these for my washing and floors. However for my toilet they will last a very long time.

    The only bad thing about these are that they do not dissolve in normal water at all, so if you want to get to them to dissolve you may have to boil water. Other than that they are quite useful.

    A few years ago i invested in the complete kit, which required a lot of effort to get the alkaline, chlorine, and bromine levels correct. These tabs work wonders, put inside a suitable container and change every 2-3 days. I’ve also invested in a net and PH strips. After three weeks the water looks and smells clean. Perfect !

    I have a LazySpa and find that one tablet is too much so I have to take it out after a couple of hours.The chemicals work and for that it is good but for the pain in having to be on hand and remember to take the dispenser out each time I would not recommend. I have now gone to grannuals as you can control the dose and provided you desolve them in some water before you add them they are much easier.

    After having to constantly weigh the granules I thought I’d give one of these a go. It’s tons better and does the job perfect for keeping my hot tub nice and clean. Can adjust the bottom to release slow or faster too. A lot easier and cheaper than using granules.

    We’ve had these before for our Hot Tub and they provide good value for money and dissolve without a problem. Cheaper than the DeepBlue version by a fiver – albeit the price of all tablets has gone up by 33% due to COVID. (everyone staying at home buying a hot tub instead of holidaying equals price increases unfortunately it seems).
