This is a nononsence bleach product, pure formula that works and no added marketing fluff.Treated sandstone ledges with it after cleaning them with the DOFF machine first and BEFORE sealing them with a sealer. Immediate effect was noted in that any remaining blackened spots not removed by DOFF steam literally vanished. Obviously had to wait a while before reviewing this product but it really does appear to do what it claims. We had a new garden wall built during what pretended to be last summer and because it was erected in a shady north facing location it rapidly started to turn a rather unsightly green. Having treated the wall just once, virtually none of the green has returned despite the incessant damp, cold and semi dark conditions we have all experienced since and both the horizontal and vertical wall surfaces now look brand new. One word of caution, make sure to read the instructions carefully you have to apply when dry and when rain is not imminent otherwise an effortless and very effective solution which I will not hesitate to buy again.

Using one part to five parts water as instructed. Sprayed on really green fence panels and thought this isnt going to work. A few days later you think am I imagining it. No, it is brilliant. The worst panels look like new. Spraying behind a tree onto a wood panel and now the green is all gone. Slowly doing the drive and terrace for spring. I would highly recommend you try this. Having purchased several other products that claim to do the same, we have used this product to clean our hardwood decking outside. The decking was heavily stained with moss and green mould other products used alongside a pressure washer just havent been able to bring it back to glory.This product however is superb really easy to apply with a garden spray can. Leave it for twenty minutes as it suggests and it works great. Used alongisde a pressure washer as opposed to a brush, I left the product on the decking overnight and the next day the mossmould washed off incredibly easily.

Action is not instant but, provided it doesnt rain after application, after a couple of days you see the green andor black disappearing and iy stays gone for at least 6 months. Doesnt seem to cope with white lichen, but otherwise its great. Xan be used on brick, stone, concrete, grp or even canvas work, all with equally good effect.

I used this in a pump action pressure sprayer using the recommended amount of solution to water. I sprayed our concrete paths which had varying amounts of moss and algae on them and also sprayed the outer wall of the garage where algae was growing on areas which had got wet. The stuff on the wall disappeared within a day. The moss on the paths took longer, depending on how thick the moss had grown, but you can see its worked within a couple of days as the moss goes a bright brassy colour as it dies off. As far as I can see, its worked as I hoped it would so Im happy to recommend.

This is the most amazing product as it does exactly what it says. You just spray and leave it and the magic then happens over the next few days. No rubbing or scrubbing, you simply leave it. We bought it to treat our canvas screens which surround our external canopy. One had become particularly green from constant exposure to the rain etc and we had previously used bleach in desperation as we had been told not to use this, but this did absolutely nothing. I think the main reason for me liking good old Demestos is that it is stronger than cheaper bleaches. While cheaper ones are adequate, there are times when a stronger bleach comes in handy. Honestly I am not sure the thickness means anything other than less control over how much you get out of the bottle in one squirt, but whatever, it is very jelly like.

Sprayed my blueygreenyblack slimey yard with this on a dull, still afternoon and checked virtually every hour hoping to see a change… At first I thought it was just a waste of time money. Even early the next morning it didnt seem much less green but after a half a breezy sunny day, I peeped out and it had cleared almost everything miraculously. The plastic drain pipes that had been deep green were clean the bin and plant pots all back to their original colour as was the trellis and most of the concrete yard. There were a couple of very shady areas that were virtually black with slime previously as they never see a minute of sunshine all year, but even here I spotted an improvement. Those sections appeared drier and the solid black slime was broken up into faint patches of light grey on the concretes surface.I couldnt walk safely on some really bad parts of my yard prior to treatment as it was so slippery and I wasnt looking forward to pressure washing it as I usually do. This stuff really has made a difference and with almost no effort at all. Ive found cleaning algae mould away with a pressure washer causes the problem to spread. The spores are blasted up the walls and over other surfaces so that although it looks great after a clean with the washer, when it returns…the green slime covers an even bigger area. It also becomes aerosolised and fills your lungs which is dreadful for asthmatics like myself. Not to mention the problems with it being so messy and also taking off the surface of dressed concrete and painted wood etc. Using Deep Blue was a much cleaner option and I didnt end up soaked in green water as usual. It was also virually silent so didnt disturb my neighbours with a loud machine spraying a fine mist of mould algae over to them. The yard dried quite slowly on the grey overcast afternoon, but I was able to let my little dogs out quite quickly after treatment. I did clean their paws with baby wipes the 1st time they walked on the treated area, but it dried so thoroughly I didnt need to clean them again. Neither dog showed any ill effects and one has very sensitive skin.Ive just given the bluest areas of the yard a quick mist over with some more solution to help remove over a years worth of gunge. I did it whilst waiting for the kettle to boilfor a cuppa… So its quick and effortless.I think youve got to give it a chance to work and as with my yard, stubborn areas might need a respray. I bought this brand from QVC but having seen other similar products and compared their formulation instructions, think theyre there are cheaper alternatives especially on Deep Blue. Try the cheaper brands first and do give it a chance to work a little time favourable weather helps Ill try to download some photos after I see how the latest area responds to treatment.Delighted to have discovered an alternative to the biannual blasting sessions in my yard and am thrilled with the results even without tidying the place it looks so much better. Well worth a go.PHOTOS1 sprayed this patch 3pm on a cloudy Saturday.2 this is what it looked like without any brushing or rinsing at 12 oclock midday Sunday.3 a week later.. this is a close up of the yard previously damaged by pressure washer hence very porous surface

The product comes with a history of getting results relating to moss removal etc. I had been told that it takes time to act so cant give a full review, however the portion of the roof I did treat has shown a discolouration of the moss after approx 2 weeks , so hopefully the moss will die off over the coming months. Our concrete paving has got brighter as well but some of the discoloured parts are yet to improve. I am optimistic though.

It was ok…I followed the instructions and it was left for a couple of months with no discernible change. I recently cleaned with a power washer, thinking it would all come off and it really hasnt. Its also a jip that you have to fork out for a special sprayer on top of the price of the liquid. I will do it again seeing as I have some mixture left, and see if that improves it.

We have a large block paving drive, some of which is in quite a state, and I was reluctant to spray the whole area as it would take quite a while. I was also slightly sceptical about the claims made, so I decided to test the Deep Blue first on a couple of areas to see if it does as it says.Well, as you can see from the photos it does work. I sprayed the two areas last July 2019 and these photos were taken today Jan 2020. I had noticed an improvement after 3 or 4 months, and as you can see its still going strong.Needless to say I will be spraying the entire drive.

Used to clean algae from sails and deck of boat So far seems very good Sail looks like new and no green on deck or ropes after several months. Makes deck initially very slippery until it dries after that no problems so best done as you leave the boat for a few days. I cannot believe just how quickly this product worked. Our external rendering had patches of green algae after this winters excessive rain.Waiting for a suitably dry day I sprayed the affected areas using the recommended dilution. When I checked the wall the following day, the green had all but disappeared. Amazing I had also sprayed a couple of badly affected paving slabs and they too were clear. Having read the reviews and product info prior to purchase, I was expecting to have to wait fir some results. Superb product highly recommended.

Dare I say it I actually prefer this to the Cillit Bang version with bleach. For a start these are big 750ml bottles which therefore go an extra mile. But more importantly this actually seems to clean better. Cillit Bang is best for their the kitchen grease formula, but Deep Blue with bleach has the upper hand for with bleach formulas. Plus, Deep Blue makes this product for use in kitchen and bathroom so its not formulated with a scent thats specific for one area Im thinking about the Dettol pomegranate which smells a bit odd used on kitchen surfaces.The Deep Blue with bleach really has cut through all the soap scum and grime in my bathroom. Likewise its tackled food debris, grease and my cooker top with ease. The bleach is an added bonus which will kill germs and viruses on the counter tops, and I strongly suspect I wouldnt need to give it as much contact time as you do with some antibacterial kitchen cleansers for example, Method tells you leave the product for 5 minutes before rinsing.Its important to note that this is formulated for hard surfaces and bleach resistant surfaces. Great for the bathroom, kitchen surfaces, that kind of thing.This product doesnt win awards for eco friendly formulas but its extremely effective and sometimes only a bleach formula will do.
