Amazing product Tried many other brands from cheap patio cleaners from local supermarkets and DIY stores to highend expensive brands but this product beats them all hands down Fantastic value for money, goes a long way and so easy to apply. We applied it to our Indian stone patio slabs using a 7 litre garden sprayer having pressure washed the worst off. You could see it working immediately. We left it on for the suggested time and then pressure washed it again but only lightly. We then spot treated again any stubborn areas. We have since done more patio areas and even left it on overnight with no issues. The photos show the slabs at the start, one heavily stained slab and then the last photo shows the end result the back section with nothing done to it, the right hand section just pressure washed and the front section treated. We are relaying all patio areas and cleaning them before we lift them. We will then be using it regularly to avoid having to pressure wash them so hard and the damage that can do to the jointing.

I looked at other well known black spot products theyd need to be outstanding to justify the price difference.Sprayed this on a block paved driveway with a garden sprayer overnight pressure washed it off the next day. Blocks came up really well but might need a few goes on a heavily spotted driveway. Ours was cleaned about 2 years ago Ive washed it every now then with the pressure washer so it wasnt really bad.This stuff does stink though, very bleachy as its sodium hydrochloride so its best used overnight or when its not going to annoy anyone.Ive only used this where needed and not the whole of the driveway, for the price its good value and will use it again but it cant be used near plants or aquatic life or where it will drain into them.

To save money I was buying powdered limescale remover that I could put into the washing machine. Whether it worked or not I have no idea. However the washing machine was smelling almost loudly, though I couldntt see any mould in the machine that I could tackle. Having seen the advert I have tried the dalton tablets. I wont go back again, the machine seems cleaner, it appears to have dislodged some existing limescale little bits have come out of the machine when I have done a rinse and wash through and more importantly the mouldy smell has gone. Really happy with this product.

For me the downside is that when washing on low temperatures the blue solid ball in the centre of the tablet does not dissolve completely and on occasions has left a blue stain particularly on white garments. However I have resolved this problem by dissolving the tablet in hot water, leaving it overnight and pouring it in the soap dispenser with detergent.

Ive got to be honest and say that this product is sooo worth the money. Weve jet washed our patio every year but black spot and algae had still totally discoloured it. Wed forgotten what it used to look like…It took two coats sprayed on and we had to be super careful near our plants, but our Indian stone is transformed to new The photo is just after one coat… it looks even better now. Its potent stuff, so use a mask with a filter and keep away from pets and plants. We did try bleach and scrubbing method first, but it was such hard graft with little results, this stuff is what miracles are made of We now need to seal our patio to stop it getting into such a mess.

Not overly impressed by this product. It did remove some of the lichen but not all of it. I used a pump sprayer to apply it undiluted and left it overnight as recommended. It took several washes and rain showers before it was completely removed from my block paving in places it looked as though the blocks were still wet.Be aware I managed to spray some of it onto the oak beams of a raised bed and it bleached them a much lighter shade than the surrounding wood. I also got some of it onto the casters of our BBQ and it tarnished the chrome. In retrospect it might have been better too apply it with a watering can to have more control over where it fell. Using a pump sprayer meant it drifted through the air. You have been warned.

Slightly uncertain purchasing this product initially as normally I just give the patio an annual jet wash plus this seemed more expensive than other cleaning products available. However I was fed up with the ugly black lichen spots which seem impossible to shift with a jet wash and other products didnt appear to claim it would clean these.The price was worth it particularly as I bought a bulk deal from HSD. The product was amazing and has restored my patio to a newly laid appearance. Slightly awkward to use in that you had to be careful keeping pets children away and its clearly strong as a couple of splashes bleached my old clothes be carefulThe product was much quicker to spray on compared to hours of jet washing. After 4 hours the patio was clean you can see it almost dissolve the dirt before your eyes and had completely removed both the green mould and importantly the black spots . Another rinse down with the jet wash and it looks much cleaner and much quicker than my usual annual task. I dont think Ill use it every year as the black spots dont appear that quickly but Ill definitely use again. I should have done a before and after photo before these stones looked a very matt green grey with lots of black lichen spots covering them.

This product is just fantastic. It cleans the patio, paving slabs and the wooden bench with ease. The stone birdbath comes up like new and kills any harmful germs. Just spray with a fine rose head on the watering can on or apply with a brush and leave. I leave it for about 20min and find thats long enough. Stubborn stains can have a second application. Just remember only apply to areas that need treated as it will kill plants and grass.

This is the first time Ive used them. Ive recently bought a new washing machine and live in a very hard water area. I saw these on offer so I thought Id try them. Im impressed. After following the instructions and adding one tablet to the manufacturers recommended dosage for soft water areas, I was very surprised to see how clean my clothes were, as I only used 45ml of powder compared to the recommended dosage of 115ml for my water type Surf. I always thought items like this were overpriced and gimmicky, but price wise I will more than cover that in the saving I make on washing powder, as Im only using just over a third of what I used to per wash. Plus Im increasing my washing machines life. One final tip, drop one of these in your toilet cistern occasionally to reduce limescale buildup.

Test the dilution can mix with up to six parts of water to one part of sodium hypochlorite I find two parts of water to one part of sodium hypochlorite is best for initial clean and use 3 to 1 for subsequent cleaning using a watering can. Wear old clothes its about seven times stronger than domestic bleach.

Its a bit pricey but does the job a treat I did my front driveway and was so happy with the results.I went on to treat my sandstone garden patio. When I ran out, I just wanted the job to be done and so I tried household bleach on the last few slabs. The household bleach barely touched the blackspots. Ultimate blackspot remover is a bit expensive but well worth the spend. Ive just ordered another 5 litres.

My only concern is that the instructions say to use it in the drawer with the washing powder but I use a washing capsule in the drum so have just popped the tablet in with that too

Unbelievable…… Pro Kleen not only removed all the black spots on our paving slabs, but cleaned them after so many years of neglect and brought them up looking like new. The 5 ltre can stretched a long way both front of the house and rear patio. You could see the Pro Kleen working virtually as it was being applied, and worked in a much shorter time frame than stated on the instructions for use. Will certainly be using it again to now keep the slabs clean.

Easy to use Just add one to your machine drawer and the job is done I have noticed my laundry smells fresher and feels softer but I wonder if they would have worked better when the stuff was new, as the towels were already a bit hard even with fabric softener when I first tried these tablets. When I buy more linens, I will know better. Theory has it that less soap and fabric conditioner is needed if the water is softer so the Calgon is a worthwhile spend

I wasnt too impressed the first time I used this as I was looking for immediate results However, over the next couple of days the application became easier and the results are beyond what I had hoped for. The stone slabs in the garden have come up as new and I am totally satisfied. It is quite hard work as I did not want to use a power spray because of the amount of flowers and shrubs around so I painted it on with a brush. This product is obviously quite potent so I would recommend old clothing and gloves, but other than that brilliant

It has most certainly improved the look of my laundry as well as I used to get brown stains on some of my washing but these have disappeared too. I bought a new washing machine a couple of months ago and thought it would be best to start using something that would keep my machine as good as new on the inside. As soon as you open the individual little tablets the smell is just amazing, i love it. These calgon tablets are super easy to use, you just add them in the draw with your usual detergent and thats it, as the wash cycle is on the tablet does its job. Its great to know your inside of your machine is being kept clean from limescale all from one little tablet. When i removed my washing from the machine i couldnt believe how gorgeous my clothes and the machine smelled, this is a product i will always be adding to my shopping list.

This product was easy to use but extremely potent The fumes initiated some coughing so some sort of face mask should be worn. I left overnight and most of the back spots were easily washed away the next morning. I did feel it slightly took some colour from my slabs but nothing too obvious. Ensure you are wearing old, waterproof clothing as this is quite a messy job but certainly left my patio looking cleaner and brighter.

Ive had black spots on the patio for years that the power washer just couldnt shift, this stuff lifted it in seconds. As soon as you apply it you can see the spots disappear. Leave it for a couple of hours and rinse away with nothing more than a hose. If you are covering a reasonably large patio and you want the product to go further it is definitely better to buy a pump sprayer, I ended up buying it twice as I just used a watering can on the first application and it didnt stretch to the whole patio. Id definitely recommend this product the patio stone looks as good as new.

Weve been using these since getting a new washing machine and in three months none of the black gunk we got in the old machine from our overly soft water has appeared. The machine is still pristine.It might not be the Calgon and over time our many washes a day from 2 sporty kids still at school and 3 dogs may take their toll but its looking good so far.And whilst the cost of the Calgon adds to the wash, the fact we arent now rewashing loads and using less conditioner because its all so clean means its well worth it.Obviously your mileage may vary if the machine is already in a state…

I was aware that the washing machine was starting to smell a bit so used these in tablets in the wash. I noticed a difference after the first use it smelt horrible to begin with but as the wash progressed it smelt SO much better. It also helped to clear the washer draw as we dont usually use this as we put the washing liquid in the drum not the draw. I have continued to use these in almost every wash when the other half uses the washing machine he forgets and would definitely continue to use them as they are keeping the washing smelling fresher.

Just unwrapping the tablet is unpleasant as a very strong perfumed smell hits you. I hang the laundry outside, on a long line , to dry. So it should be lovely and fresh smelling at the end of the day. Not so, since I started using the new tablets. Lots of people are allergic, or sensitive , to strong smells and perfumes. Not just smelling it, but also against the skin. Surely a product that is used to keep the washing machines clean, especially as it is designed to go in with the laundry, should have minimum of perfume. I am not happy at all. Using the tablets , my clothes feel uncomfortable to wear as they reek. Going to bed in a freshly made bed is so unpleasant and I cant relax, as it reeks. And no, I have not changed any other products. The only new thing is the latest box of Calgon tablets. I stopped using the tablets yesterday, I have quite a lot left in the box, and guess what……. The clean laundry is lovely ones again. Do I get a refund if tablets has been usedIf this is the new Calgon, then can you please introduce a version for sensitive skin, one without added perfume

I did not think we would get our Indian Sandstone patio to regain its original pretty colours. It had gone grey with black spots and looked very unattractive. Pressure washer would not touch it. This stuff is amazing, it works incredibly quickly and with zero effort. There are some spots remaining, a treatment will I think get rid of those or at least diminish them further.Photos show the patio after treatment, also one and a bit stones after a quick trial run. The whole patio looked like this dirty stone. I couldnt be more pleased as I was worried we would have to dig it up and replace.

Makes a big difference and certainly the best treatment so far. Removed 7580 of black spots and great general clean up, so Id recommend even if black spots arent a problem for you. I think it will require a couple more applications to removed 100 spots, so I held back half a star.

Usually we use The Calgon powder, but as it was out of stock, I purchased the tablets, although we personally thought they were expensive. But to our surprise they certainly worked well, these tablets are much superior to the powder and other Brands. Will certainly buy Calgon Tablets again.

I use it diluted as a shock treatment in water and also no winter growth on artificial surfaces so that in spring i can brush off any dead moss thatch and all expensive moss treatment gets down to the roots

Amazing product Paving like new Pretty much instant effect. Any very few small spots left after first treatment disappeared as soon as applied for a second time. So easy, there is no excuse for not using it Highly recommend.

I had no faith in these tablets Ive always thought this kind of product was just a gimmick or money making scheme. Ive noticed a smell coming from my machine in recent weeks but obviously cannot get inside machine to look or clean Ive been using Calgon for a while now, the smell has completely gone infact it smells so clean Ive also noticed I dont have to use as much laundry detergent

Does what it supposed to do. Need two applications if spot and litchen is bad, but 2 applications brings up slabs like new.Need to wear protective goggles, mask, gloves and wellingtons, as the mixture is very potent. Was everything down afterwards. Keep off plants, grass as will kill it off.Would definitely use again.

Paving was badly discoloured even after jet washing, with grey marks that turned black when wet. As soon as the Prokleen remover was applied you could see an instant reaction and the true colour of the stone coming through. Absolutely brilliant. Picture is of travertine steps

worked well, removing stubborn lichen that wasnt removed by jet washing alone. I sprayed the Black Spot Destroyer with a back pack sprayer and left it for 4 hours. then I jet washed again and almost all the spots were removed. Next time I will buy Sodium Hypochlorite solution because it is cheaper.

Its a bit expensive and the smell is pretty overpowering strong chlorine smell but it did the job, got rid of blackspot that other cleaners barely touched. Indian sandstone patio almost like new.
