    I only tend to write reviews if the product is really bad or really good and this is really good. After 1 application I mixed 1 part to 4 parts water my slippery paving slabs and green chippings came up looking like new within 3 weeks and have stayed that way since. My stone patio also looks much brighter and far fewer weeds grow between the slabs. Ive already recommended to neighbours and friends.

    I used to use chlorine for patio cleaning but this stuff is much better. Chlorine does work but has a few problems noxious smell, doesnt actually kill the black lichens and tends to turn sandstone orange.The one thing to remember is that you need to have patience. Garden furniture clears up in a few days but it does take a few months for the black lichens in sandstone to disappear completely. Lichens also seem very slow to reappear so claims about residual effect do seem reasonable.

Have used this product a number of times and it is much easier, more effective, kinder to driveway … neighbours blast theirs with high pressure and tonnes of work whilst I just wet n forget, their drives have sand and colour removed whilst mine looks great and retains colour.Definitely recommend without doubt. Have patience though … it doesnt happen overnight or even in weeks, definitely notice a difference over a longer period of time by remembering how it looked previously. Try using it on a surface next to another part without and see the difference over time … hence my purchasing more after I have witnessed the difference.

On wood that had green mouldalga that was gone within 2448 hrs, on outside painted house walls, they cleaned up in few days, patio also a few days. But what I did live was down side of house I have cream gravel that was no longer cream, but dirty cream or some green. Couple of sprays and they have cleaned up.Now just waiting to see how long it lasts but will buy again.

Within days the black mould spots had gone, all the moss died and vanished and now 3 months on it is as if I had new slabs laid.I am now treating the front which is different stone and much older. There is already a brightness about them but I dont expect to see such a dramatic improvement. I feel these will need the time and patience it requires for this product to work in the long term.This is not a patio cleaner,it is a growth remover and and it works and continues to work unlike power washes that need top ups.. It is not for the impatient who want instant cleaned patios. But it is for people who want to spend time on other things.It outshines Deep Blue.

    I applied the Deep Blue with a watering can, diluted to the correct strength. I found that the coverage was about one quarter of that described, and was able to treat only my one patio rather than the patio plus forecourt, which was the calculated coverage. A few weeks on, I can see a noticeable difference to the algae coverage, which appears to have reduced. I wish Id taken photographs before and after to compare, which would help me better calculate whether or not to buy the 2 or 3 bottles which Id need to cover my forecourt.

Agree with others that its a gentle, slow clean so you wont get the same effects for patios etc as pressure washing but great for ongoing use and vertical things like fences.

    This stuff is great and fascinating at the same time. I sprayed this on my patio which runs up to and level with my lawn and the grass by the patio was no affected. It took 2 months for the black Lichen to go, 2 days for the algae to go from the side of my shed and about 4 weeks for the moss to start falling of my steps. Its fascinating how this one product works so differently on the different growth. Unfortunately is all done too quickly, I could only get out of doing the dishes once while I sprayed I would recommend this as it is safe and quick no fuss and comes in a good solid container which seems thicker than you would normally get with a milk bottle type seal. Shame more things ant packed as well.

    I applied this product as instructed and while it did help with my problem patio it had about the same effect as all the others that have come before it, it didnt take long before i was out scraping out the gaps and cleaning it.But as i said it kind of did what it said on the bottle and trust me i have tried a lot worse at least this kept it at bay for a couple of months which is more than i have had from other products i have used and i didnt think the price was bad either compaired to other products with names we all recognise but dont work at all so you have just paid for the brand basically hmm, so i would probably use this again as i am sure i have used it before in the past any help is better than none in keeping the problem at bay.

    I have bought this a few times now and it never surprises me how good it clears the algae from the patio, block paving and even the wooden fence.You dilute it to the required amount then using a garden sprayer apply it to the items.You will not see anything straight away but after a week or so you will see it get cleaner and it keeps on working.Some items may need more than one application of it but leave it a month before the second application.I do all of mine in the spring and in the autumn to prevent it.

    Ive used a rival product for several years and been very pleased with it so I was interested to try this out instead. Gratifying to see that the results are just as good as with the original product. You just pour a set amount into a pressure sprayer and top it up with water then pressure the sprayer and off you go. Results in about a week, depending on how bad the algae is on the surface youre cleaning.If you have pets, best to keep the in until this is dry, so Id only use it in dry weather so that it dries quickly.Id order again for sure. A great way to keep my patio clear.

    used the pressure washer on the back block paved patio which cleaned but still left a green tinge on everything, also coping stones, part of the fence and one wall on my shed has green all over it.decided to buy this Deep Blue and give it a go. mixed up in a 5050 ratio with water in a bucket then used an old paint brush, within a couple of hours I had painted everything that had green on it two days later I was thinking what a load of rubbish it doesnt work. day three I did notice a slight change day four a bit more, a week has gone by now and omg everything I painted it on is sparkling clean I cannot believe the difference my whole back garden looks clean and free of green moss and algae. I guess Im a bit impatient and wanted an instant result will definitely purchase Deep Blue again.

Worth a try if you only have a light covering of algae but we are overlooked by massive sycamore trees so doesnt really do the trick for us. Wont but again.

    I have used this before and would totally recommend. I used a knapsack sprayer to spray it onto a large cobbled area and stone patio. Improvement is seen within days but it gets better and better over time. I also sprayed a huge lichen infection on my driveway, totally dead the next day. It makes light work of difficult jobs and I cant recommend it highly enough.

    I am so pleased to be able to share my experience of using this product. It is amazing. After years of frequent power hosing and using soda crystals on recurrent algae on my patio, I was sceptical of the claims. How wrong I was. I used a dilution of 1 to 4. Note the coverage claim of up to 170 square meters depends on how much you dilute it to a maximum of 1 to 9. I used a watering can and got excellent results. As claimed after 2 days the full result was apparent algae had vanished. And what I find astounding is that there are no signs of regrowth. Highly recommend.
