Habe mich beim TruTest schon oft ¼ber groe Differenzen von einem zum anderen Teststreifen und von Charge zu Charge ge¤rgert. Diese hier messen den Chlorwert relativ konstant um 0,6 mg/l zu niedrig, die pH-Messungen sind viel zu niedrig. Geht gar nicht, allenfalls um den Chlorgehalt abzusch¤tzen. Schade, ich finde das Ger¤t und die Methode toll, aber die Genauigkeit l¤sst viel zu w¼nschen ¼brig. Habe jetzt das Poollab-Photometer. Das misst richtig genau.

We use these for our hot tub and after trying multiple different brands off DeepBlue with disappointing results, we were over the moon with this brand. The packaging is easy to open and contains a seal to keep any water out. The strips are clear to read unlike other brands and come with very easy instructions. My only complaint would be I wish there was 50 in a pack compared to 25 for the price as we use these strips everyday.Overall we’re extremely happy with these and would completely recommend to any one with hot tub.5 Stars!

I check this against a very expensive meter and it always comes out very close. This system is so easy to use and gives great results. Trying to guess the numbers in color by eye is just impossible. Use this system. Much easier and accurate.

Positively – the strips have the 3 measures simultaneously, which react suitably quickly to please the impatient, and even a simpleton can use them.Negatively – Those familiar with the pH scale, will notice it is larger than the pH capable of being measured by these strips. If your pH is beyond the limited range these strips offer, you’re unable to know what that pH is, only that it’s beyond the measure of the strip. Subsequent adjustment, if continuing to use these strips becomes somewhat trial and error as a result. (Instead I took to using an alternative product). However, for most situations, the scale the strips can cope with, is normally sufficient.

Neither my wife or I could ever read the ordinary test strips and match it to the color scale. With this system of strips and the device to measure and give display a number, the problem is resolved. In the beginning I measured the water at home and then took it to my Pool & Spa for their computerized readings. There was a slight difference (.895) on the pH and my recordings were low compared with theirs. For months now I simply divide my recordings by this factor and have no differences now. Prior to this system I was all over the board. As an aside, I’m a retired chemist and was upset with my yo-yo results. Now taking care of my hot tub is a snap.
