Just a heads up those reviews on here saying theyre fake are bull, I tested one of these strips and one of my old DeepBlue strips at the same time and both gave the same reading. Yes the bottle is a little different but its the same bottle you buy from the Bestway website. So dont believe everything you read.

Have never had an issue with this product, after reading some of the one star ratings, it seems people want that perfect reading, it’s not going to happen with test strips, these are GREAT for getting a ballpark figure. I myself have never had a problem using this, after four years of checking the tub I have learned what I usually have to raise or lower. Most people forget too that when they refill with city water they have treated that water with all kinds of stuff, so I always wait two days to check water.

I was originally sceptical as the results differed wildly from my old testing kit and showed seriously high pH and alkalinity and no free chlorine. I was planning to return the kit but bought a 3rd kit (Instatest) to check. The results from these strips matched the Instatest strips and as I have very hard water I believe they are likely to be accurate. I should note that my pack had the shiny non-faded label that others have referred to.
