Description
Welcome to the world of Deep Blue Pro 6 x 1kg Hardness Plus, your trusted companion for maintaining the perfect balance of calcium hardness in your spa water. If you’ve been grappling with the challenges of keeping your calcium hardness levels in check, fret not, as Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus is here to rescue your spa water from potential imbalances.
Calcium hardness, also referred to as total hardness, is a critical factor in determining the overall quality of your spa water. It reflects the hardness or softness of the water, influenced by the mineral salts present, primarily calcium, that are dissolved in the water. The hardness of water can vary based on the source, with different regions exhibiting distinct levels of hardness.
Maintaining the correct calcium hardness is crucial to avoid a host of issues that can arise from imbalanced water conditions. Low hardness levels may lead to corrosive water, surface etching, and unwanted foam formation, while high hardness can result in scale formation, filter calcification, cloudy water, and unsightly staining, all of which can compromise your spa experience.
Deep Blue Pro 6 x 1kg Hardness Plus provides precise dosage recommendations to address varying hardness levels effectively. Whether you need to incrementally increase the hardness or keep it within the optimal range, this product offers a straightforward and efficient solution.
For example, to elevate the hardness by 10mg/l in 1,000 litres of water, you would require 15g of Hardness Plus. If a more significant adjustment is needed, such as raising the hardness by 50mg/l, 76g of Hardness Plus should be added. These clear dosage instructions make it simple to tailor the treatment to meet your spa’s specific requirements.
In scenarios where the calcium hardness exceeds 200mg/l, Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway steps in to prevent scale deposits within the filter, heater, pipework, and spa surfaces. This additional product ensures that even in high-hardness situations, your spa remains shielded from the detrimental effects of scale accumulation.
If a reduction in hardness is necessary, Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway offers a convenient solution. With just 25ml of ScaleAway needed to decrease hardness in 1,000 litres of water, this product streamlines the process of restoring your water to the optimal hardness levels. Regular application at recommended intervals guarantees a gradual return to the desired hardness range.
By opting for Deep Blue Pro 6 x 1kg Hardness Plus and ScaleAway, you’re not just purchasing water treatment products; you’re investing in the durability and performance of your spa. Manufacturers description:
Deep Blue Pro 6 x 1kg Hardness Plus – If the calcium hardness of your spa water is less than 100mg/l, it should be increased using Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus.
Calcium Hardness: Calcium hardness (or total hardness) is a measure of the water’s hardness or softness. The level varies depending on the water source; for instance, some regions have very soft water, while others have very hard water. The hardness is influenced by the amount of dissolved mineral salts, primarily calcium, in the water, with higher salt content indicating greater hardness.
Problems Associated with Incorrect Calcium Hardness Levels:
Low Hardness ? Corrosive water, surface etching, foam
High Hardness ? Scale formation, filter calcification, cloudy water, staining
Ideal Ranges: Low calcium hardness is less than 100mg/l, while high calcium hardness is more than 200mg/l. If your spa water’s calcium hardness is below 100mg/l, Deep Blue Pro Hardness Plus should be used to increase it.
Dosage Rates: To increase hardness by 10mg/l in 1,000 litres, add 15g of Hardness Plus. For a 25mg/l increase, use 38g of Hardness Plus, and for a 50mg/l increase, add 76g. If the calcium hardness exceeds 200mg/l, employ Deep Blue Pro ScaleAway to prevent scale deposits within spa components.
Dosage Rates: To reduce hardness in 1,000 litres, add 25ml of ScaleAway and repeat every 24 hours until levels return to the normal range.
