    I purchased this product after searching through Deep Blue AND trying a mix of bleach and Deep Blue to try and remove existing algae on a couple of walls that dont get much sunlight.The delivery etc from Deep Blue was very good, as usual.I followed the instructions on the cleaner to the letter, I used a pump sprayer to spray the liquid directly onto my wall, I did not dilute it AND I left it for 20 minutes before scrubbing off with a firm brush and cold water. To be honest, I didnt think the algae on my wall was that bad but it was a fair effort removing it with this stuff. Im not sure whether the cleaner or the firm brush also purchased at the same time was the deciding factor AND Im not sure the cleaner is any better than a bleachDeep Blue combo to be fair.Im going to have to give the cleaner a couple more goes on one of the worst walls after already giving it two sessionsSo as a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, Im not sure this stuff is that great. Maybe Im expecting too much from a cleaner but I didnt expect to have to put in this much effort

    I wanted to repaint my fence but thought Ill get rid of all the algae beforehand. I applied this and it worked within 24 hours , although during good weather. I noticed the part of the fence with less sunlight took a bit longer.The first picture is what the entire length of my fence looks like and it includes the sprayer that I generally use for spraying the garden. It definitely removes all the murky stuff and leaves a faded whiteish colour behind. The last picture shows you a tiny bit left where I suspected I havent sprayed properly.Compared to spraying a path full of weed, spraying this took longer than anticipated because of the wind blowing the fluid back and the fence being a hard surface also splashing back a little.Overall, it is easy to use and does the job even on my fence posts. This should last me a few applications but I can see this only lasting a few if you have a big fence with loads of algae or mould.

    My block paving was in need of a good clean with a lot of moss build up i do normally rake all the moss out then jet wash then re sand, actually saw a YouTube video on this stuff so thought I would give it a go, i just used my 8 litre pump sprayer with 4 litres of the hypo, then 4 litres of water, office went spraying the block paving drive, within minutes you can see a foam starting to appear on the blocks, after 2 hours I just hosed my drive off, next morning when it had dried I could see a huge difference like it had been jet washed,I dont think Ill be spending all weekend doing it the hole weekend my old way, from now on Ill be getting this stuff for sure, picture i put up is when the drive is still wet,but as you can see it looks pretty good

    I sprayed my tiled roof of the outbuilding three years ago and pretty much forgot about it as nothing seemed to really change very quickly. It wasnt until I went out today to spray it again that I thought Id look back at an old picture of how it looked before and had completely forgotten how bad it was back then.     Moss and lichen will naturally inhabit exterior stonework, garden walls and paths, over time, and can add greatly to the attractiveness and biodiversity of your garden. Brand new materials can look harsh, and a bit of natural mellowing and patina is very desirable and welcome. Thats why Im not a fan of liberally spraying hard landscaping to clean it. There are times, however, when help is needed, and thats where this product is useful.The steps in a section of my garden path are rather steep, and situated in a position that gets little sun. They therefore become green and slimy rather easily, which is slippery and dangerous. Mixing up a 14 solution of this product and spraying my steps has solved this issue. I have also used it to good effect on a reclaimed sandstone fireplace that was green from being stored outdoors in the wet. That would have been fine for stone used for a garden wall, say, but in a living room setting the stone needed cleaning.In both instances the spray was applied during a dry spell and left to take effect. It takes seven to ten days for the growth to be killed off you will NOT see an immediate result. So just be patient and give it time to do its job.One last thing this is a biocide, and affects wildlife, fish and plants. I recommend being careful where you spray this product, and using it sparingly, responsibly, and only where really needed.

    The instructions say use with a lowpressure spray it comes in a pumpaction spray bottle and scrub clean with cold water, then repeat as required for tougher infestations and give a final rinse.Seems to work OK on the garden slabs. How preventative it is well have to see.Its not rocket science, and it certainly beats the put down and leave for a week products Ive used before.Deep Blue seems to be a tradeoriented product range from Deep Blue, a company Im mainly familiar with due to popularity with French builders and handymen.

    Deep Blue I feel is unrated, it is one of the best Cleaning Agents that you can buy at a much cheaper price than names products which promise the best clean ever, but I feel that that is all hype and we much too much on cleaning products that do not do half the job that Deep Blue does,. Deep Blue can be used diluted, neat with rubber gloves on to protect your hands, with a cloth, or brush if stubborn stains. It is a marvellous cleaning product, and I like the freshness that you get when you use it, and it does kill a multitude of germs. Recommend to everyone.
