We first saw this advertised on QVC was immediately impressed. This product apparently is used to clean the Sydney opera house Just spray it onto your patio, house garage roof, greenhouse etc. let the rain do its work. This will remove any unsightly algea or mould from any surface. It is water activated so apply before rain. You have 1 part WF to 5 parts water. There are different sprays on the market for use with this product so please yourself as to what youll need. Just a couple of personal things. I would jet wash any heavy soiled patios prior to applying as I dont think it clears dirt. One way round that is to apply thoroughly to protect before winter. The other thing is that if you use it on any fencing you may have to paint the affected part. Other than that this stuff is absolutely brilliant. Ive no idea if there are similar products on the market but we wouldnt use any other..

I followed the instructions and hey presto, the following day it looked like it had just been laid. Very pleased. Note, At first it looks like its not working very well, but be assured it is. A few hours and given a good going over with a stiff brush activated the chemicals and it turned white. That afternoon it looked good after a hosing, the following morning it looked great. Going to do the garden path next. Good stuff. Warning, use protective clothing etc its not the kind of stuff you want to get on your skin or in your eyes. Keep away from fish.

Ive used this product for a few years now and it really is great. I no longer have to power wash the patio which tended to dislodge the grout and Deep Blue seems to work for months thus meaning one application lasts the season. I use a low pressure garden sprayer to apply which means the product goes a long way and you get a good even application. Much quicker than power washing and with better, longer lasting, results Ive also used it on wooden trellis which had gone green, it does clean it but I felt it bleached the wood a little.

My patio was looking a little worse for wear, mould, algae and the sorts, along with some discolouration to the slabs. Time for a spring clean I thought.Having reviewed various patio cleaners, based on reviews, I opted for this one. I have to say I am a little disappointed.I applied the cleaner exactly as I was advised to do so on the container, and applied a generous coat to the whole patio. I used the full container on a smallish patio so I knew I had given the patio a good coating. No rain for the next two days so it did have time to dry.On a positive note, the green mould and algae did go within 48 hrs. but I have to say, the patio still looks a little worse for wear. Now, it may well be that the cleaner continues to work in the weeks to come, and in which case I will add to this review. However, I have had other products which once have been applied, have brought the patio back to new more or less there and then. This cleaner does not do that. And at a cost of 17 or so, not the cheapest option.I will recommended on the basis that it did remove the green mouldalgae but not the best product you can buy.

I had a path and patio laid with slabs which got stained with leaf tannin. As a last hope I ordered up this stuff and what do you know it works so far. I just did a trial this morning and it started to fade the stains out. There are berry stains that have faded but not vanished but I will go over them again hoping it will do the trick. Just slosh it on, stiff brushing, leave for 20 mins and wash off. I will get the slabs sealed come spring. It will kill the grass it seeps into but that can be reseeded.

I had a patio installed 10 years ago and over the last 7 years have had to spend every year scrubbing the slabs with a patio cleaning solution to lift the algae then pressure washing clean. This has been back breaking and damaging to the cementgrout between the slabs. After spending a fortune having the grout redone last year I was reluctant to use the pressure washer again so started looking online for an alternate. This had rave reviews and sounded easy to apply and no pressure washing required.The sun was out so I decided to do same test patches around the garden, one normal condition, one very green and patch on the drive. Within 10 minutes of application it rained needs 5 hours without rain but……. there was a noticeable difference in all areas. With there being a difference, even after rain, I was confident to do all the patio. I applied it using a low pressure sprayer and 41 ratio as recommended. This was painless compared to my normal cleaning routine. After two days there is noticable improvement. The algae has gone and although they are not as shiny clean compared to pressure washing they have a slightly grey hue I would say IT DOES WHAT IS SAYS.

I have used WF for several years and am delighted with the results. I read that some were disappointed but as with everything one has to use common sense. My patio was very badly discoloured by algae and dirt so I first used a pressure washer to remove the dirt in order to give the product a fighting chance. Five years on all I do is wash down the patio reapply WF and that keeps it clear for at least a year. All of the black and white circular algae have disappeared the usual accumulation of green mould in the winter my garden is very shaded is easily dispatched with a quick hosedown and another treatment, overkill perhaps. If youre looking for instant gratification this is not for you.If however a little common sense is applied it will work. My gliding club also uses it on glider trailers and it really does work on a variety of surfaces, glass fibre, marine ply and treated fabric.

This is a brilliant product for cleaning patios. My patio gets covered in green algae and moss as I have lots of over hanging trees. I diluted the product as per instructions and use a watering can to sprinkle it over the patio covering all areas. Where the green algae is particularly bad I used a brush to scrub the slabs. Its been a bit of a nightmare testing this product. With storm Ciara and Dennis and very inclement weather in between its been hard to find a time to get this down and see how it works. So the reasoning behind that is you cannot apply this if rain is due within 6 hrs. You are best not to apply this if its windy as you dont want it blowing on your plants unless you want them to die. You definitely cant apply this near crops that you intend to eat and its not safe for pets for 48 hrs or until its properly dry. This is all stated on the tub. Bearing all that in mind and on a nice windless day I managed to find the worst two slabs on my patio and I sprayed just one of them to see the changes clearly. You mix the stuff up one part to four parts water and then spray it on. For a week I saw very little difference however the photo is two weeks down the line and you can definitely see the green has all but gone. Now I normally jet wash my patio and I will still need to do this if I want really clean slabs as it doesnt achieve a jet wash finish. It does say it stops green coming back so my plan is to jet wash everything and then apply it but in the spring summer has n a nice hot day. Maybe then the green will stay away longer. We will see. I can see that this product would be good for anyone without a jet wash and who preferably doesnt have pets. The tub would do the whole of my patio which is about 20 sq meters and Id probably have some left. If I see a marked difference in the rate the green returns I would get this again. If this isnt the case its a bit too much faff for me and Id probably just stick with jet washing.

Well I bought the pack of two, not cheap by any means but I had high hopes. Well it took some few months to show any real difference. Yes it did work and killed off the green moss, of which I had to brush this off with a stiff brush once it had died. I have just given my large patio and drive another spraying as the moss is returning, with vengeance it would seem. Personally for the cost its a bit expensive. Im happy to pay a reasonable price, providing I get the promised results.In a nutshell.1. it works over time, considerable time,2. Unfortunately it does not keep the moss or algae at bay for as long as it promises too.3. It is quite expensive, although you can get it cheaper on other sites on the internet.4. Personally, I will try another product.

I used this product in about February and Its transformed my patio slabs from black and mouldy to clean, revealing their original colour. It takes months to fully work though. I think it still shows a slight improvement after a spell of rain even now though theres not much scope for further improvement. This product was recommended to us and we have seen their results. Thought we would give it a try. Mix with water, spray the area and leave to dry. It works with rain. After a couple of weeks the original colour of the slabs is starting to appear. Apparently, it may need a another spray in a couple of months as this is the first time of using it but once it works and gets the stone back to its original colour, you are only supposed to spray once a year. The same amount of work as jet washing but the stones are not meant to get back and slimy and the patio will look good all year. and it is not messy

The title is self explanatory. I used this product to clean my patio slabs, which were absolutely rancid with moss and lichen. Worked a treat. My patio slabs now look like new.

Works very well, kills weeds and removes green staining from algae. Takes a few days to work and you need to apply when its going to be dry for a few days so it doesnt wash off. I used a 5 litre sprayer to apply and gave a good coat to the whole patio and its worked really well.
