This stuff is remarkable For years Id struggled with a patio that goes blackgreen and slimy and needed scrubbing at least twice a year, even with jet washing. Id tried every type of patio cleaner I could find and nothing worked well or lasted. A friend recommended this, so I gave it a try. The immediate results were good but not overwhelming but over the following weeksmonths, my patio continued to brighten up and has stayed incredibly clean ever since… and that was over 2 years ago Ill likely give it another spray this winter because there are slight signs of darkening but this is no longer a daunting or backbreaking task. I diluted it a bit further and sprayed it on my motorhome roof, which is also still gleaming white after 2 years without a proper wash. Anyone with a camper or caravan will know how remarkable that is. Im so impressed and would definitely recommend Deep Blue.

Patio cleaner worked well on my paving block. However l did do a little experiment as wellMy house brickwork has salt stains on the brickwork this is like white chalk marks. Putting some of this cleaner into a small bucket then with a good size paint brush gently apply to the salted brickwork marks. I found this works a treat l just left to dry out. Next day the salt marks had been completely removed. I will definitely use this again should the need arise.

This stuff works. My patio had been jet washed several times over the years but black spots remained. I diluted this equal parts with water and sprayed it on. It was incredible to watch the black mould spots that have made my slabs look grey and shabby for years disappear before my eyes in 1 to 2 minutes. The greyness and black spots vanished. My slabs are a buff colour again. I was shocked and delighted how effective and quick it was. Do be careful though. This stuff bleached my trousers and hurt when splashed on my skin. Be safe.

Originally purchased approx 1 year ago, used on my block paving and patio slabs, initially used a strong dose to start with and I am more than happy with the progressing results. Follow the instructions on the tub, Success wont happen overnight but within a few weeks you will see a difference and it will keep on working through the months. I gave it a topup after six months. Im now using the 2nd tub and the dilution rate works well. My block paving was very dark and had a white spot lichen, it is now back to a pink colour and virtually lichen free with no power wash and no scrubbing. I saved quite a bit of money and enjoyed doing it myself. Would highly recommend.

fantastic product for killing removing green from concrete, patios, paths, timber etc. Easy effortless to use and incredibly effective, leaving a clean as new surface within days. I tried so many products that claimed to do all of the above and they were all next to useless. Does remove algae and moss. I was hesitating to buy this product, I needed something really good to take care of my 5 year neglected patio. Originally wanted to use jayes liquid or caustic soda, but decided to go for Deep Blue as it promised to be biodegradable. Didnt want to risk life of my newly settled garden plants that grows on verge of the patio. No results after coating, but 48 hours later all green algae are gone, the only remnant are darker patches on the slabs. How they would go away after 7 days as promised on the label. Otherwise it will be scrubbing fun with some heavy duty chemicals. Make sure there is no rain within 7 hours of the coating.

We have a shady courtyard garden in central London and the brick pathways can get very green and slippery with algae growth. I used Deep Blue at a 41 concenrate. The results over the next few days were quite amazing. All the growth onbetween the bricks was killed off and the product kept on working over time. This initial use was over 8 weeks ago now and I still have clean brickwork. Its very easily applied with a watering can and does no damage to the old reclaimed London brick.

I was really hoping this would be all it claims to be, but sadly it doesnt look promising. Ive used it in 3 different areas over a couple of months they claim it can take several months to show full results, the only thing that seems to happen is that the moss turns brown. Dont know if it will eventually die back completely or not. As for removing lychen or anything for that matter, it has been singularly disappointing. Neither brick patio nor paving slabs for my path have shown any improvement since treatment. Some slabs Ive treated twice still nothing. Am currently pondering whether to keep it as a moss killer or to return for a refund. There must be cheaper moss killers out there thoughUpdate Dec 2017 lychen algae have indeed been removed, but has taken several applications over many months a couple of seasons. So patience is likely to be rewarded, especially for areas where pressure washing is either unsuitable or simply ineffective. Upgraded to 4 stars from 2.

Used this to remove blackspot from the rear patio. Power washed the whole area first to get rid of the last years grime, then sprayed the Sodium Hypochlorite at a 5050 water ratio on approx 3sq yards at a time, left it for 30 min and washed off, excellent result. Then repeated over whole patio at similar sized areas and could not fault it. Have only used about 8 of the 20 litres that I ordered so will be ready for next year, if the blackspot returnsTBH I think I could have done the whole patio in one go and not waited the 30 min however the problem of continually shifting garden furniture pots and plants made that a tad impractical.Dont have a before after image but this shows how clean it is, almost like new

It exceeded all of my expectations I simply sprayed the liquid all over my blockpaved patio and driveway, and even on the bits of my roof that I could reach. This product is the best stuff Ive ever used on my patio and drive.Both are block paved. Bricks came up like new.5050 mix with water, spray it on, leave it over night, and the results are amazing.On the patio, I power washed first, and then sprayed the Sodium Hypochlorite. If I could give this more stars, I would. Ive been using this product now for about 7 years …. it is absolutely FANTASTIC. Its the first thing I use in my garden to start my spring cleaning. I use it on my pressed concrete drives, my garage doors, my indian sandstone patio, my rattanglass top garden furniture, the outside of my glass house, my railway sleeper retaining walls and steps and just about anything that get covered in the green slippy stuff over the winter months it seems to me that the very mildwet autumnwinters are doing us no favours and just creating slippery hazards everywhere in the garden. Its now 27.03.17 and my gardenfurniture and everything that was treated a week ago is now ALL CLEAR using the 15 ratio. My sprayer is round my sisters at the moment, so I just used a watering can to administer the solution. Works a treat. Im not sure why those with low ratings have not had success with this product as it really does do what it says on the tin …. theyre either making the solution too weak or perhaps not buying the genuine item …… in all the years Ive bought it, its worked first time every time with GREAT SUCCESS …. I would point out that this product is NOT A GENERAL CLEANER, ie it doesnt remove general dirt … please read the product description before buying to ensure that its the right product for your requirements those people that say bleach works just as well clearly dont have the slippery stuff to get rid of. ………….. next for me will be the fence and wood preservative for all the wood that has been treated a job for Easter methinks.

I have used Deep Blue again this year, and it really is magic.I have a real stone patio circle which becomes very green after the winter. One treatment with Deep Blue brings it back to pristine condition. Just apply with a watering can and leave it to do its stuff, next morning the circle is like new

My 2 yaer old Yorkshire stone patio was looking dreadful and dark green. I was contemplating buying a power washer as this was obviously going to be an ongoing problem. I didnt really expect much from this product to be honest but decided to give it a go. I brushed the patio first and then sprayed it with the product. 1 part product to 4 water. It says it works within 4 to 5 days . Well within 2 hours 90 of the staining and algae was completely gone. I paid 70 last year to get it jet washed so this is a bargain, and this time it hasnt damaged the black pointing. I will seal it on the next dry day. Im very pleased..understatement
