For hot tubs, it is recommended to maintain a free chlorine range of 3-5mg/l, while for swimming pools, the ideal range is 1-3mg/l. Application Instructions:
1. Keep the pH level within the optimal range of 7.2-7.6 for best results. Adjust the pH using PH plus or PH minus products if necessary.
2. Maintain the free chlorine residuals within the recommended range for hot tubs and swimming pools. Freshly filled hot tubs require an initial shock dose of chlorine to kickstart the sanitation process.
3. When using a floating dispenser, adjust the tablet quantity to achieve the desired chlorine level. For chlorine feeders and skimmer baskets, follow the respective instructions to maintain the required chlorine levels effectively.
4. Periodically shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination, especially after heavy use, to ensure water purity.
Note: When using skimmer baskets, ensure proper pump operation to prevent chlorine build-up. Keep the skimmer out of reach of children for safety.
Dose Rates:
For a medium hot tub with 1,000 liters of water, add approximately 1 tablet to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l or 3 tablets for a 3mg/l increase. Larger hot tubs and swimming pools have corresponding tablet requirements based on water volume.

Very good little device. Good value for money. Prompt delivery.Chlorine tablets on their own will not stop the water turning green. You need to use an algaecide as well. Test weekly the PH of your water by using a test strip. Once the PH is within the acceptable limits, add the recommended amount of algaecide for the volume of water in your pool.I use two chlorine tablets per week with the little ‘slot’ on the tablet holder set at ‘half open’. I dose the pool with the recommended amount of algaecide once per week. Before using the pool I close the ‘slot’ on the little tablet holder and open it halfway again when finished. My filter is left running 24/7. My pool is 13 ft diameter. A ‘once weekly’ check is all that is required to keep your pool water in good order. After about 3 months or so I empty around one third of the pool water and top up again and then test and correct the PH of the water and start the weekly cycle again. I have found by doing this the water stays clear and balanced. I have been using this method successfully for around 10 years now.

Was recommend this from a friend and I like him was also really pleased with the purchase.When I upgraded from a small paddling pool to 10ft x 30 inch high pool I hadn’t really researched what I needed.This is a great little kit to help get you going, but I also ended up buying another kit for PH balance and Algaecide.The kit includes the Special Float to put the chlorine tablets in, 10 Chlorine Tablets and 10 Test Strips.I was putting 3 tablets in to start with and then went down to 2, this was with 2 slot holes open on the float.2 tablets were lasting about week before they dissolved completely and needed replacing.I’m really surprised with all the 1 star reviews saying tablets don’t dissolve.Maybe they’re not opening the slots at the bottom side of the float. It’s possible to have 0-4 holes open allowing you to adjust how quickly the tablets dissolve.I ended up with 2 different types of test strips and used both the first few times with the same results when testing the water.I now use just 1 every 4-5 days depending on how much the kids are using it.All packed up for the winter now in safe place away from the kids.

I bought this for my 8 foot pool in the summer. I got 10 tablets, the dispenser and some test stripes. The dispenser is really easy to use and can be adjusted depending on how much chlorine is needed in the pool. I changed the tablets roughly every 8 to 10 days by which time they had dissolved. Tablets and dispenser worked really well and kept my pool clean all summer My son used the pool all the time and said that he didnt realise that there was chlorine in the pool which was good. Only downside is the test stripes. I used them once and didnt like them so I threw them away.
