    Very good little device. Good value for money. Prompt delivery.Chlorine tablets on their own will not stop the water turning green. You need to use an algaecide as well. Test weekly the PH of your water by using a test strip. Once the PH is within the acceptable limits, add the recommended amount of algaecide for the volume of water in your pool.I use two chlorine tablets per week with the little ‘slot’ on the tablet holder set at ‘half open’. I dose the pool with the recommended amount of algaecide once per week. Before using the pool I close the ‘slot’ on the little tablet holder and open it halfway again when finished. My filter is left running 24/7. My pool is 13 ft diameter. A ‘once weekly’ check is all that is required to keep your pool water in good order. After about 3 months or so I empty around one third of the pool water and top up again and then test and correct the PH of the water and start the weekly cycle again. I have found by doing this the water stays clear and balanced. I have been using this method successfully for around 10 years now.

    We’ve had nothing but problems since using these tablets. They leave a solid deposit which never dissolves and kept clogging up the filters on our inflatable hot tub. We almost gave up on the hot tub completely because it became such a hassle to keep clearing these deposits out. We haven’t used these since we realised how bad they were and since going back to our regular brand we’ve had absolutely no problems.

    Was recommend this from a friend and I like him was also really pleased with the purchase.When I upgraded from a small paddling pool to 10ft x 30 inch high pool I hadn’t really researched what I needed.This is a great little kit to help get you going, but I also ended up buying another kit for PH balance and Algaecide.The kit includes the Special Float to put the chlorine tablets in, 10 Chlorine Tablets and 10 Test Strips.I was putting 3 tablets in to start with and then went down to 2, this was with 2 slot holes open on the float.2 tablets were lasting about week before they dissolved completely and needed replacing.I’m really surprised with all the 1 star reviews saying tablets don’t dissolve.Maybe they’re not opening the slots at the bottom side of the float. It’s possible to have 0-4 holes open allowing you to adjust how quickly the tablets dissolve.I ended up with 2 different types of test strips and used both the first few times with the same results when testing the water.I now use just 1 every 4-5 days depending on how much the kids are using it.All packed up for the winter now in safe place away from the kids.

    Did not come as picture. Free strips not in a pot but a vacuum sealed pack with approx 10 strips. Once opened strips are exposed to moisture. Dispenser and chlorine tablets as advertised.

    OK and do seem to keep the hot tub clear but quite a few have refused to dissolve so you go to your tub after a few days to find it murky with undissolved tablets in the dispenser.

    these went straight in the bin, i recieved 20 tablets wrapped in a clear bag, other than the white envelope they arrived in, there was no packaging and no instruction, nothing to indicate what these tablet like things were,they did have a bleach/chlorine type smell but that could be anything, without a laboratory there is no way of knowing if these were genuine or not, i have children and in no way was i gonna risk there safety by putting an unknown product in the pool water. i will not reccommend or use this seller again because of this.
