    This is a very easy way of chlorinating your pool but you will need to Shock it every couple of weeks with another product as you can’t control how fast/slow the chlorine dissolves in your pool. I used to use granules but found them a bit toxic but I must admit I’ll be returning to granules as I could control the chlorine levels much better and never had cloudy water.

    Much simpler to use than separate chemicals which I couldn’t get to grips with. I put 1-2 tablets in the floating dispenser which lasts about 3 days depending on use of hot tub (used in Lay Z Spa Monaco). I found that I needed to also purchase the DeepBlue clarifier as the tablets contain algaecide which I think is what made the water a bit cloudy..poured clarifier in and now have sparkly Deep blue too!!! Fast delivery, highly recommend for a simple way to maintain a lay z spa, very happy with my purchase. Don’t get your nose too close when opening the pot as it is a very strong smell!!!!

    Got this for my 8ft fast-set pool, it’s just the right size of dispenser for this size pool. It’s easy to adjust the dial of the dispenser to allow more/less of the chlorine tablet to be dissolved. One tablet lasts about a 10 days with the dial set to only one aperture. Didn’t think much of the test strips, they don’t come in the pot illustrated, they’re just in a little sachet. I didn’t use them (I got some DeepBlue ones instead that come in a proper pot).Overall this stuff has definitely kept the pool hygienic and has meant not having to empty and refill it – thus saving water as well!

    Very good little device. Good value for money. Prompt delivery.Chlorine tablets on their own will not stop the water turning green. You need to use an algaecide as well. Test weekly the PH of your water by using a test strip. Once the PH is within the acceptable limits, add the recommended amount of algaecide for the volume of water in your pool.I use two chlorine tablets per week with the little ‘slot’ on the tablet holder set at ‘half open’. I dose the pool with the recommended amount of algaecide once per week. Before using the pool I close the ‘slot’ on the little tablet holder and open it halfway again when finished. My filter is left running 24/7. My pool is 13 ft diameter. A ‘once weekly’ check is all that is required to keep your pool water in good order. After about 3 months or so I empty around one third of the pool water and top up again and then test and correct the PH of the water and start the weekly cycle again. I have found by doing this the water stays clear and balanced. I have been using this method successfully for around 10 years now.
