This set is so much more convenient than using chlorine granules and even the powder, both of which I used to mix with hot water and throw in the pool, then I’d get a bit lazy and miss a couple of days and it would turn green.I didn’t think 10 tabs would be enough and that they’d dissolve really quickly but I’ve been using the 1st tablet for a few days now and it’s still a decent size, they’re also multifunctional, not just chlorine, so are doing a better job of keeping the pool clean with the aid of a filter.

We been having trouble with our pool that was until we got these tablet from DeepBlue. They where so easy to use, No more getting the calculator out and measuring out chemicals. We simple place the recommended amount of tablets in our pool float and let them do there magic. They come in a handy child proof bottle and unlike other chlorine products we tried they don’t have to be kept in a sealed box in the shed as the bottle is air tight once sealed. We Highly recomed these.

these went straight in the bin, i recieved 20 tablets wrapped in a clear bag, other than the white envelope they arrived in, there was no packaging and no instruction, nothing to indicate what these tablet like things were,they did have a bleach/chlorine type smell but that could be anything, without a laboratory there is no way of knowing if these were genuine or not, i have children and in no way was i gonna risk there safety by putting an unknown product in the pool water. i will not reccommend or use this seller again because of this.

I bought this for my 8 foot pool in the summer. I got 10 tablets, the dispenser and some test stripes. The dispenser is really easy to use and can be adjusted depending on how much chlorine is needed in the pool. I changed the tablets roughly every 8 to 10 days by which time they had dissolved. Tablets and dispenser worked really well and kept my pool clean all summer! My son used the pool all the time and said that he didn’t realise that there was chlorine in the pool which was good. Only downside is the test stripes. I used them once and didn’t like them so I threw them away.

I used this chlorine dispenser along with the strips to check that the level of chlorine was right and have found it has kept my pool clean for two weeks. Using these in a hot tub it has been some whilesince I last made a purchase havlng used bromine previously due to a previous economial large tub purchase. Ok, glad to be back with chlorine and this product was well packed, with a hard to open lid that would have deterred the most determinedchild and possibly most adults the lid was finally removed. No loose tablets here they were contained within a sealed bag inside the plastic tub. Now nI’m not sure if this was an additional level of security or just another measure to keep the product fresh but once the bag was open the strong pungent smell of chlorine was unavoidable. This product was so fresh it was unbelievable and when added to my hot tub in the measured amount the differenc was undeniable, once again the water smelt and felt fresh and a feeling of protection and germ killing was once more evidend. So much better than bromine, much more control able and the water appears brighter, with the particular freshnessof this seller I beleive this is possibly chlorine a its best. Fantastic fresh product, cation should be taken when using this product not to inhale fumes, keep in a dry environment and never handle this product without gloves outside and not in enclosed space. Treat this product as you would bleach or any othrer dangerous product and keep away from children.

I stopped using these in my spa as while they do sanitise by adding chlorine they also make the water acidic which requires that I then treat with pH increaser. I’ve switched instead to just using the granules which don’t create this problem. the price/value for money is fine, but you might be better off using granules instead.

I have been using these for the past couple of years in my hot tub. But I’m not so fond of the new blue design.I don’t know why, but the blue seems to come off in non disolvable grit and either sits on the bottom of the spa making it feel sandy. Or some have got through the filter and have started blocking my inlet jet. So I have to regularly back flush the system.But otherwise they maintain a lovely clear and clean water easily.

Much simpler to use than separate chemicals which I couldn’t get to grips with. I put 1-2 tablets in the floating dispenser which lasts about 3 days depending on use of hot tub (used in Lay Z Spa Monaco). I found that I needed to also purchase the DeepBlue clarifier as the tablets contain algaecide which I think is what made the water a bit cloudy..poured clarifier in and now have sparkly clear water too!!! Fast delivery, highly recommend for a simple way to maintain a lay z spa, very happy with my purchase. Don’t get your nose too close when opening the pot as it is a very strong smell!!!!

These tablets make keeping the levels in a lazy spa a breeze. Simply pop one in to a holder every few days and forget about the chlorine levels in your spa. It has an adjustable setting so you can adjust the amount of chlorine released depending on the size of the spa. I have the saint tropez and a setting of 2 bars seems to the keep the levels right in the middle of the ideal level and the tablets generally last 3 days with daily use of the spa.

The instructions weren’t great, because it isn’t clear how many tablets should go in at a time.. surely it depends on the amount of water in the pool? I didn’t want to put too much in in case the chlorine levels got too high so I used one tablet for a 10ft round pool and will replace it when fully dissolved, probably in a week or so. Absolutely useless. These tablets, despite the so-called glowing reviews are terrible. Firstly they dissolve quicker than the last tablets I used. I purchased these for our hot tub. I had scoured many sites looking for good value and DeepBlue had the best deal. They arrived really quickly and I am very pleased with them. Hot tubs can be tricky getting the chemical balance, but these tablets make it super simple. I have a ‘floaty’ dispenser so these are perfect. I put 2 tablets in every 5 days or so and my water is crystal clear and always has that mild bleach smell, that smells clean. I dip test it every day and it seems to always keep in balance, so highly recommend using these. We as a family have had no skin irritations, like some other chemicals can cause.

We previously used chlorine granuals and the PH balancers etc which were tricky to use and measure out, and which took time to do too. We then swapped to using these and they are fantastic. You just pop one tablet into the dispenser, open the ‘door’ of the dispenser just a fraction and the rest is done. Sparkling water every time. One tablet lasts us 2-3 days. If I had a negative, it would be that it’s sometimes hard to get the chlorine balance just right – the door to our dispenser has to be open just right not to raise the levels too much. But that’s more of an issue with the dispenser rather than these tablets. I definitely recommend them for an easy life.

I have a 10ft fast set pool, I made my own floating dispenser. I add 3 tablets at once when they have fully dissolved I repeat and so on. No green/slime etc water stays fresh and smells like a proper swim pool does. It takes a while until it’s settled as they dissolve slowly.Everything is ok nobody has had any unwanted effects everybody’s happy.

DO NOT use these on hot tubs, they are far too strong and emit too much gas – so much so that the gas has destroyed my hot tub cover and it is going to cost £80 to replace! You also can’t get straight into the tub as the gas being emitted is overcoming, need to have the tub running for 10 minutes without the cover on to let the gas disperse.

Was recommend this from a friend and I like him was also really pleased with the purchase.When I upgraded from a small paddling pool to 10ft x 30 inch high pool I hadn’t really researched what I needed.This is a great little kit to help get you going, but I also ended up buying another kit for PH balance and Algaecide.The kit includes the Special Float to put the chlorine tablets in, 10 Chlorine Tablets and 10 Test Strips.I was putting 3 tablets in to start with and then went down to 2, this was with 2 slot holes open on the float.2 tablets were lasting about week before they dissolved completely and needed replacing.I’m really surprised with all the 1 star reviews saying tablets don’t dissolve.Maybe they’re not opening the slots at the bottom side of the float. It’s possible to have 0-4 holes open allowing you to adjust how quickly the tablets dissolve.I ended up with 2 different types of test strips and used both the first few times with the same results when testing the water.I now use just 1 every 4-5 days depending on how much the kids are using it.All packed up for the winter now in safe place away from the kids.

This arrived promptly and looks like it does what it should, however, there were no instructions as to how to use, how many tablets to use and tablets were in clear polythene bag. Bearing in mind that the majority of people who might purchase this are probably doing it for their children’s pool this is not exactly a very satisfactory state of affairs. This is now the third purchase I have made on here when tablets or powder has come in such a method. Think that it should be stated on the product page that this is the case and then you have a choice. Would imagine too that couriers wouldn’t be too impressed that they were delivering unlabelled chemicals!! SORT IT OUT here
