    I’ve been trying to use Chlorine tablets in my lazy spa for sometime and i’ve decided to switch back to the granules after several weeks of no success with these. Why is this you may ask? Well if you asked a handful of people how much salt they like on their popcorn or how they like their steak cooked most people would have a different answer. You make it to order! Now imagine the same situation but you only had 1 product.. rare steak and heavy salted popcorn, it wouldn’t work and this is the issue with the chlorine tablets. Your trying to guess the demands of your lazy spa using a pre made product. With the chlorine granules you take a dip test and depending on the colour you know how many grams to add to the water. With the tablets while you can adjust the floating dispenser by opening the little flaps to limit how much chlorine is released; the time in which this takes is much greater then the granules and you don’t really know how much is being released, i.e a new tablet compared to a 3 day old tablet is different in size and the amount its releasing. If your not too fused about keeping your lazy spa on the nose then yeah shove one of these in every 3 or 4 days but if you want your lazy spa fine tuned get the granules.

    They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. What can I say about the tablets they come in a big plastic tub which will lats along time at the rate of one tablet a week. It was a quick delivery time and I have no problems with the purchase or delivery. I know where to go for my restock when I run out.

    Not as easy as I had hoped.I had got in the habit of adjusting chlorine granules according to the usage and could usually guess when I got out how much to add so that my hot tub was ready the next day again. I still checked the levels everyday but rarely had to alter much.These are supposed to do everything – chlorinate, clarify, stabilise and have an inbuilt pH plus. Just stick one tablet in a floater and away you go.And it keeps my hot tub levels OK. But its not a set and forget.I have the official bestway floater and even on the most closed aperture it tends to over clorinate and I have to take it out occasionally.I have also had two instances of the water going cloudy after about 2 weeks, requiring a refill, which makes me think the clarifying part isn’t great.Overall, I think I’ll stick to granules next time.

The only reason I bought this was because of the test strips as we were running out. Purchased a floater to pop these in, when you open the tub the chlorine smell hits you, simply pop and tablet in the floater and pop that in the pool when nobody is in there. The water only has a slight chlorine smell. The tablets last a long time so this tub will go far. Just the job!

    Bought this for the hot tub, very disappointed the tabs do not work, basically they do not dissolve, do not even smell of chlorine and after being in the floater for a week with vents practically fully open they still did not work when testing the chlorine levels there was no chlorine detected. Thrown them away.Would definitely not order this not fit for purpose product. Be warned!!!
