This set is so much more convenient than using chlorine granules and even the powder, both of which I used to mix with hot water and throw in the pool, then I’d get a bit lazy and miss a couple of days and it would turn green.I didn’t think 10 tabs would be enough and that they’d dissolve really quickly but I’ve been using the 1st tablet for a few days now and it’s still a decent size, they’re also multifunctional, not just chlorine, so are doing a better job of keeping the pool clean with the aid of a filter.

Okay, you have a spa or pool. What now?Well you had better make sure that the chemical levels are correct or you will either end up with instead of bottle blonde hair, green flowing locks or a terrible infection from under dosed water.And these little sticks will keep you on the straight and narrow. Simply dip in the water daily and compare to the colour chart on the side of the storage container. A few seconds later you know what the condition of your pool is.Unless it’s already green and full of gunk, in which case best you empty and clean it… Likewise if you get up in the morning and find the area surrounding your spa covered with dead small animals and birds, you’ve probably been a bit heavy on the chlorine. Best you avoid the area for a bit.Overall, simple, easy and idiot proof.

For a swimming pool like this one 8′ x 30″ I use two tablets during the night and take them off during the day. It will last approximately a week to melt the two tablets.The water will stay clean and healthy.

I’ve tried a few tubs of these but I haven’t had any luck with them. They just don’t seem to have any effect on my chlorine levels (which are non-existent) despite filling the dispenser on my filter cartridge. I’ve had to drain the pool several times now due to poor water quality and this just didn’t happen with my previous brand of chlorine tablets. I am using this with a 12ft x 8ft hyrdropool, set at about 36deg in a very hard water area. Maybe one or all of these points is a factor in their performance.

We previously used chlorine granuals and the PH balancers etc which were tricky to use and measure out, and which took time to do too. We then swapped to using these and they are fantastic. You just pop one tablet into the dispenser, open the ‘door’ of the dispenser just a fraction and the rest is done. Sparkling water every time. One tablet lasts us 2-3 days. If I had a negative, it would be that it’s sometimes hard to get the chlorine balance just right – the door to our dispenser has to be open just right not to raise the levels too much. But that’s more of an issue with the dispenser rather than these tablets. I definitely recommend them for an easy life.

Just purchased a hot tub. Never had one before. The tablets were blue. Is this correct or should they be white. The tablets don’t dissolve. I’ve only used one at a time but the chlorine level is low. Should I be using more than 1 tablets. Only had the hot tub 1 week, used 4x. When the jets on there is lots of foam, don’t know why? Read the reviews before purchasing their products. My first mistake!Buy cheap buy twice! My second mistake.There is nothing on here to say this product cannot be used with other chlorine products.Since getting these tablets I’ve not been able to stabilise my water quality.I’ve had to have my swimspa serviced early due to terrible water quality despite using these tablets thinking I was sanitising my pool.The engineers advised this pink buildup was bacteria.We will NEVER use here products again.They need to make it clear as well on here that these products should only be used if you use bromine in your pool, as all the products we have purchased are – not to be used with chlorine, we have had chlorine tablets, Ph and alkalinity increaser.All a total waste of time and waste if money!Hydropool engineers have never heard of these and know not to recommend.Terrible product!!!!!!

When the tub is opened the tablets are in a sealed plastic bag and there is a very overpowering chlorine smell so be very careful and make sure the room is ventilated where they are stored. It’s the first time I’ve used this brand and I don’t use them for a hot tub. I put a couple in the toilet bowl so the fact that they are large and dissolve slowly is good but I also usually use a different brand and they are “chlorine / detergent” tablets for hot tubs , paddling pools and washing , floors or in the washer . I couldn’t use these for my washing and floors. However for my toilet they will last a very long time.

It took about a week of being in the pool for us to see any type of result on the test strips which are themselves terrible, they don’t match up to the chart well at all.The dispenser itself does the job. There is a twist bottom to expand or reduce the dispenser size and it seemed to work OK in our pool. Clearly a cheaper dispenser but for the money I wasn’t expecting something top quality.Happy with purchase.

I brought these Chlorine tablets for my Canadian Spa. I normally use the liquid. But I ran out of it so I brought this instead. You need to put the tablet(s) in a floater otherwise they sink to the bottom. And is way to contrated. If you buy these for your Spa/ Hot Tub buy a floater just beware if you have young children these might not be suitable as children can always touch or play with the floater. I highly recommend you getting the Chlorine liquid. If you want to be sure your Spa/ Hot Tub is safe to use within a hour.

When I returned the pool was green and the tablet hadn’t dissolved at all. I then threw two straight in the pool as I thought there may be a problem with the floater, 9 days later neither had dissolved at all. Had to drain the pool which takes 3 days. Thanks for nothing!!

Seems to work on a very slow release method, as with the other reviewer the tablet is there the next morning, which brings me onto the big problem with this product. You get no instructions. Given you are dealing with Chlorine, most likely in a pool that kids will be playing in, having some sort of guide as to how much to use, what to expect etc would be nice. My guard was up immediately when the chlorine tablets arrived in a resealable plastic bag the likes of which you pick up in a supermarket. I would consider buying one of the more expensive models if im honest.

Instructions are abit poor and the testing sticks seem to be the same even after chlorine has been added. Other than that would highly recommend this product as has kept our pool clean.

This has been working well for us in our 3m by 2m pool. I put 2 tablets in at a time and let it float about when no one is in the pool.One note is that when the tablets dissolve down really small they can fall out of the holes in the base, this has left a small white patch on out pool.

Using these for my Lay-z-spa within the floating dispenser and they seem to be working fine to maintain the Chlorine/PH levels. The water did become cloudy though at one stage and these weren’t getting rid of the issue on their own so i had to buy extra clarifier sachets and after 2 doses they cleared the water fine within about 24 hours. These mini-tablets now seem to be stabilising the water clarity and ph levels properly since then though.
