I have a 10ft fast set pool, I made my own floating dispenser. I add 3 tablets at once when they have fully dissolved I repeat and so on. No green/slime etc water stays fresh and smells like a proper swim pool does. It takes a while until its settled as they dissolve slowly.Everything is ok nobody has had any unwanted effects everybodys happy.

Chlorine tablets are essential for keeping pool water clear and hygienic. These chlorine tablets (10 in this pack) are placed in the plastic float and dissolve and release chlorine over about 7-10 days. Therefore the 10 tablets will last 70-100 days or so for a garden pool about 8-10 feet diameter. The float is easy to use, and although not the most robust piece of plastic, all it needs to do is float round the pool and so unlikely to encounter much stress to damage it. There are a few test strips included but these come in a foil container and once this is opened will deteriorate on exposure to air unless protected in a sealed container (not supplied). These are insufficient in number for the season and so a separate supply will need to be ordered. Reasonable at the price.Sept. 2017 update; Although I used these as instructed and the chlorine/pH was within the optimum my paddling pool still went green after 3 weeks or so. I was surprised and so revisited the small print. It actually says ‘reduces the amount of algaecide and flocculent needed’. Well I had to order some algaecide and fast dissolving chlorine tablets to ‘shock’ the pool. This resolved it and the pool cleared. So algaecide is needed with these – chlorine tablets alone are insufficient. The water was slightly cloudy but the pool vacuum and pump resolved this. The float is however good, lasted all summer, and required for the slow release chlorine tablets.

Started with these as recommended by Lay-Z-Spa, included in their starter kit etc. After a time of leaving them in the floating dispenser and getting numerous blocked filter error codes we switched to another brand of liquid chlorine. Even easier to administer, cheaper and no error codes. We take the filters out for a rinse, as recommended, no lumps of undisolved chlorine better still not getting blasted by the granules that settle in the air jet surround.

At last, after years of trying many different tablets, granules and liquids, I have found a product which actually does clear the (green) water in my 12′ pool, and keeps it clear – and doesn’t leave any gunk at the bottom! I don’t use a pump, but just swirling the water round for a few minutes once or twice was enough.All of these things are (relatively) expensive, but the others I’ve tried have been a real waste of money and, in fact, these are lasting longer than they advise they will, so work out cheaper than most. I would highly recommend these tablets, and will not be wasting my money on anything else from now on.

So i popped 2 tablets in my floating mushroom thing the next day me and my 8 year old son went in everything seemed fine. Then we put on the bubbles well…. we both started coughing badly then our eyes began to burn. Using these in a hot tub it has been some whilesince I last made a purchase havlng used bromine previously due to a previous economial large tub purchase. Ok, glad to be back with chlorine and this product was well packed, with a hard to open lid that would have deterred the most determinedchild and possibly most adults the lid was finally removed. No loose tablets here they were contained within a sealed bag inside the plastic tub. Now nI’m not sure if this was an additional level of security or just another measure to keep the product fresh but once the bag was open the strong pungent smell of chlorine was unavoidable. This product was so fresh it was unbelievable and when added to my hot tub in the measured amount the differenc was undeniable, once again the water smelt and felt fresh and a feeling of protection and germ killing was once more evidend. So much better than bromine, much more control able and the water appears brighter, with the particular freshnessof this seller I beleive this is possibly chlorine a its best. Fantastic fresh product, cation should be taken when using this product not to inhale fumes, keep in a dry environment and never handle this product without gloves outside and not in enclosed space. Treat this product as you would bleach or any othrer dangerous product and keep away from children.

DO NOT use these on hot tubs, they are far too strong and emit too much gas – so much so that the gas has destroyed my hot tub cover and it is going to cost £80 to replace! You also can’t get straight into the tub as the gas being emitted is overcoming, need to have the tub running for 10 minutes without the cover on to let the gas disperse.

I’ve been trying to use Chlorine tablets in my lazy spa for sometime and i’ve decided to switch back to the granules after several weeks of no success with these. Why is this you may ask? Well if you asked a handful of people how much salt they like on their popcorn or how they like their steak cooked most people would have a different answer. You make it to order! Now imagine the same situation but you only had 1 product.. rare steak and heavy salted popcorn, it wouldn’t work and this is the issue with the chlorine tablets. Your trying to guess the demands of your lazy spa using a pre made product. With the chlorine granules you take a dip test and depending on the colour you know how many grams to add to the water. With the tablets while you can adjust the floating dispenser by opening the little flaps to limit how much chlorine is released; the time in which this takes is much greater then the granules and you don’t really know how much is being released, i.e a new tablet compared to a 3 day old tablet is different in size and the amount its releasing. If your not too fused about keeping your lazy spa on the nose then yeah shove one of these in every 3 or 4 days but if you want your lazy spa fine tuned get the granules.

Be careful to keep tub well away from face when opening as the smell is horrendous unlike the granules that don’t offend the nose or lungs when opening tub. This is the first time using this brand on my pool. We have a 12 foot. The other brand I used, I generally kept topped up to at least 3 in the dispenser and the test strips indicated perfect levels. This was more value for money when I had to buy more as I needed more strip tests too. After looking through numerous reviews I decided to try. The dispenser is the same as the one I already have, but this one seems to shut up better than my other one which is a plus already because the tablets when they come out bleach the bottom of the pool.It says to keep the dispenser topped up, Ive got 4 in, can fit more but I dont want too much in, checked levels everyday and they are in perfect range. This is being used with an DeepBlue pump too.No problems to date and working just as well as the others I was using!

I stopped using these in my spa as while they do sanitise by adding chlorine they also make the water acidic which requires that I then treat with pH increaser. I’ve switched instead to just using the granules which don’t create this problem. the price/value for money is fine, but you might be better off using granules instead.

I have a LazySpa and find that one tablet is too much so I have to take it out after a couple of hours.The chemicals work and for that it is good but for the pain in having to be on hand and remember to take the dispenser out each time I would not recommend. After some research I decided to put 2 tablets in my LayZSpa Miami ChemConnect dispenser today after draining and refilling it (800 litres) and within around 2hrs my spa was at the perfect chlorine strength using the dip test strips and is ready to use. May drop down to 1 tablet next time once these 2 have dissolved as it will have had its loading dose and see how that goes. But already far easier to use than mixing up the granulated chlorine and trying to get it right using that mixture. Must use a dispenser though, don’t add them just to the spa water directly!

These tablets make keeping the levels in a lazy spa a breeze. Simply pop one in to a holder every few days and forget about the chlorine levels in your spa. It has an adjustable setting so you can adjust the amount of chlorine released depending on the size of the spa. The dispenser is really easy to use and can be adjusted depending on how much chlorine is needed in the pool. I changed the tablets roughly every 8 to 10 days by which time they had dissolved. Tablets and dispenser worked really well and kept my pool clean all summer! My son used the pool all the time and said that he didnt realise that there was chlorine in the pool which was good. Only downside is the test stripes. I used them once and didnt like them so I threw them away.

These multi function tablets brought my hot tub water back to life after going slightly green and having a bit of a bad smell! Tablets. Have to much chlorine to real tablets. I had original. Tabs. These ones are so strong they burn my eyes in the heat haze. Pls avoid.

Really good buy. I bought this for my 2m by 3m DeepBlue pool. Loaded up 3 tablets, opened it up on the minimum setting and chucked it in the water. Easiest way to sanistze the pool. The strips are very handy to see the chlorine levels. I would buy again.

First time buying this brand of tablet and there is no noticeable difference between this one and the more expensive ones. I use it with a floating dispenser and it’s effortless to keep the tub at a suitable Chlorine Level.
