    The clorine tablets case is great but the tablets don’t seem to disolve very well. Also the test strips aren’t exactly coming across very reliable: they give roughly the same reading everytime regardless of how many tablets and how long they’ve been in the pool for!? Didn’t come with instructions so we’ve had to trial/error/guess… Perhaps not the best kit to buy.

Hot tubs can be tricky getting the chemical balance, but these tablets make it super simple. I have a ‘floaty’ dispenser so these are perfect. I put 2 tablets in every 5 days or so and my water is crystal clear and always has that mild bleach smell, that smells clean. I dip test it every day and it seems to always keep in balance, so highly recommend using these. We as a family have had no skin irritations, like some other chemicals can cause.

    Glad I chose this as its really easy to maintain levels of chlorine in the pool. It has 3 slit openings so you can adjust the dosage. Now its warm and being used daily it needs to be open 3 slits and tablets going down quicker but levels never drop. Fab! Def recommend for beginner pool tester like me.

    To save a load of money, I put 2 Jacuzzi size Chlorine tablets in this old toilet dispenser, and they last for weeks helping to keep the bowl clean. A tub of 50 tablets costs a fraction of the price for the normal cleaner tabs.VERY IMPORTANT: Don’t do this if you have pets or children. Do not put them into the cistern as this may damage the rubber parts and seals.

I put 1-2 tablets in the floating dispenser which lasts about 3 days depending on use of hot tub (used in Lay Z Spa Monaco). I found that I needed to also purchase the DeepBlue clarifier as the tablets contain algaecide which I think is what made the water a bit cloudy..poured clarifier in and now have sparkly clear water too!!! Fast delivery, highly recommend for a simple way to maintain a lay z spa, very happy with my purchase. Don’t get your nose too close when opening the pot as it is a very strong smell!!!!

    Really good product I have bought a second lot now as they have kept my 10ft steel frame pool clean and crystal clear for 10 weeks now with no problems. But do be careful as they are very strong! I had to empty half the pool out after 10 weeks as the smell of the gasses being admitted was very strong it was burning my nose. But that’s to be expected with the same water for an extended period of time. If used correctly then you wont have any problems.

    After some research I decided to put 2 tablets in my LayZSpa Miami ChemConnect dispenser today after draining and refilling it (800 litres) and within around 2hrs my spa was at the perfect chlorine strength using the dip test strips and is ready to use. May drop down to 1 tablet next time once these 2 have dissolved as it will have had its loading dose and see how that goes. But already far easier to use than mixing up the granulated chlorine and trying to get it right using that mixture. Must use a dispenser though, dont add them just to the spa water directly!

    We have been using these as directed in a floater in our 10 ft DeepBlue pool along with the electric filter since the end of April when we errected the pool. We have had several pools in the past, and usually by now there is a horrid green build up around the pool. But these little gems have kept our pool fresh and clean, so it will be no problem when the time comes to taking it down. I have also ordered more so I have a supply ready for next summer.

I ended up putting one into the pool directly – what a stupid idea, it has bleached the bottom of my new pool. Seller has to agree to refund before you can send the item back – of course they ask you to “give it another go” which is pointless obviously. Avoid at all costs. I want my money back!!!

I purchased these for £39.82 for a 5KG tub which consists of 250 chlorine tablets.Lay-Z-Spa sell a 1KG tub for £19.99 which is only for 50 chlorine tablets, so for 250 tablets it would’ve cost me £99.95 but it only cost me £39.82 which works out at about £7.96 per 50 tablets. Absolute bargain if you ask me…These tablets are authentic and do a great job keeping my hot tub chemical levels correct. This tub will last me a very long time as I only tend to use 2 tablets per week.I don’t understand some reviews showing incorrect contents arriving and personally must say that this is not the case for me and that what arrived is what I ordered.I’m very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend for hot tub users.

    These tablets make keeping the levels in a lazy spa a breeze. Simply pop one in to a holder every few days and forget about the chlorine levels in your spa. It has an adjustable setting so you can adjust the amount of chlorine released depending on the size of the spa. I have the saint tropez and a setting of 2 bars seems to the keep the levels right in the middle of the ideal level and the tablets generally last 3 days with daily use of the spa.

I still had to add a healthy dose of chlorine granules (dissolved in a bucket 1st) to the pool after we came back from holiday as mosquito larvae were having a field day .. they didn’t last too long though.     Stupidly decided to put the 8ft pool up in the garden this year before remembering how much of a faff it is to put away again. Still, little’n loved it and i definitely made the most of it with the nice weather too. Decided to try and leave it out for a bit though and knew id need some chemicals to avoid draining and re-filling. Had no idea what i needed, or what was best, so a little online research led me to believe these were a quick win for my situation. Found this, seemed reasonably priced compared to others and reviews were ok. Arrived, popped it open, put a single tablet in and left it to float about whenever we werent using it. Pool was covered too to stop debris landing in it constantly as well.Im no expert but i think it worked a treat? Pool stayed lovely and clear, no gunk or slime build up anywhere and it smelled clean. A little chemically, like a swimming pool kinda scent, but reassuringly familiar as clean, if that makes sense. Took it out whenever we dived in, popped it back in after. I got over 3 weeks out of a single tablet which just slowly dissolved and did its thing. Testing strips were easy to use, take one out, dip it, wait for the colours to update and compare against chart. With the treatment in, my readings were always spot on so i assume it was working as intended. Despite being able to tell it had stuff in, we had no issues with burning eyes or anything like that ether. Plenty left for if we ever have more good weather too. Cant complain with this at all, simple, effective and saved me a tonne of hassle messing about with the pool. Would definitely recommend.It is advisable to remove all chemicals some 3-10 days in advance of draining though, i need to let mine drain predominantly in the garden and didnt want to kill any plants or wildlife, so after the weather turned, i took this out, left the pool covered for 4/5 days until it no longer smelled fresh and then drained. All my grass and surrounding plants are perfectly fine so seems no harm done.

    I haven’t had to add any chlorine other than a few of these in the float. Chlorine is up middle of the ok range in an 18 ft diameter easyset pool. In previous years I have had to boost the chlorine with granuals every few weeks, but not with these tablets.

    Not as easy as I had hoped.I had got in the habit of adjusting chlorine granules according to the usage and could usually guess when I got out how much to add so that my hot tub was ready the next day again. I still checked the levels everyday but rarely had to alter much.These are supposed to do everything – chlorinate, clarify, stabilise and have an inbuilt pH plus. Just stick one tablet in a floater and away you go.And it keeps my hot tub levels OK. But its not a set and forget.I have the official bestway floater and even on the most closed aperture it tends to over clorinate and I have to take it out occasionally.I have also had two instances of the water going cloudy after about 2 weeks, requiring a refill, which makes me think the clarifying part isn’t great.Overall, I think I’ll stick to granules next time.

I was using a floating dispenser but all the tablets were taking a long time to dissolve > 2 weeks+.TOP TIP: I put one in the inlet shield of my inter filter and they dissolve in about 24 hours even in a cool pool.

    Love these. I pop two in every other day into a cleaning holder thing that bobs around and hope for the best. I must get the strips to test really. But I have had no algae and water is clear. Would get again as I think these are easy to use compared to those kits that you have to add different chemicals to. I would recommend getting the anti foam solution as these dont prevent those frothy bubble

    Maintenance has increased since using these, though I cannot be sure they are directly the cause. There is a build up of crystal sediment on the hot tub floor and an increase in E02 errors, even once the filter was removed, leading to repeated resets and tub vacuuming sessions.

    They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. What can I say about the tablets they come in a big plastic tub which will lats along time at the rate of one tablet a week. It was a quick delivery time and I have no problems with the purchase or delivery. I know where to go for my restock when I run out.

    The top is difficult to remove with wet fingers due to two plastic lugs, I broke these off and it works much better. otherwise does the job well and saves having to add chlorine granules every day. I have a 1,000 ltr tub and only open one small hole, a tablet will last about 6 days.
