I contacted the company and they were more than helpful when immediately sending a replacement. The product itself is exactly as advertised, a very simple, but effective device. Great gadget for my pool. I am not sure how many litres my pool is but it is round and takes about an hour and a half to fill and when I am sat in it, it reaches my chest. I used this chlorine dispenser along with the strips to check that the level of chlorine was right and have found it has kept my pool clean for two weeks. The dispenser and chlorine tablets arrived today and it was so simple to set up and get in the pool. The instructions weren’t great, because it isn’t clear how many tablets should go in at a time.. surely it depends on the amount of water in the pool? I didn’t want to put too much in in case the chlorine levels got too high so I used one tablet for a 10ft round pool and will replace it when fully dissolved, probably in a week or so. Great product otherwise tho!

This is the first time using this brand on my pool. We have a 12 foot. The other brand I used, I generally kept topped up to at least 3 in the dispenser and the test strips indicated perfect levels. This was more value for money when I had to buy more as I needed more strip tests too. After looking through numerous reviews I decided to try. The dispenser is the same as the one I already have, but this one seems to shut up better than my other one which is a plus already because the tablets when they come out bleach the bottom of the pool.It says to keep the dispenser topped up, I’ve got 4 in, can fit more but I don’t want too much in, checked levels everyday and they are in perfect range. This is being used with an intex pump too.No problems to date and working just as well as the others I was using!

Being new to ‘pool care’ this summer after buying a 15ft above ground pool on a whim, I had no idea what I needed in terms of chemicals and it was all statting to look a bit complicated! Enter this product!!Dead easy to use in my small floating dispenser and keeps the water crystal clear and the bottom of the pool non slippery. It’s probably jot very scientific but I just fill the floating thing with tablets and when they’ve dissolved down to about half the size, I top it back up. Seems to be working like a charm.

I contacted the company and they were more than helpful when immediately sending a replacement. The product itself is exactly as advertised, a very simple, but effective device. Using these for my Lay-z-spa within the floating dispenser and they seem to be working fine to maintain the Chlorine/PH levels. The water did become cloudy though at one stage and these weren’t getting rid of the issue on their own so i had to buy extra clarifier sachets and after 2 doses they cleared the water fine within about 24 hours. These mini-tablets now seem to be stabilising the water clarity and ph levels properly since then though.

They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. What can I say about the tablets they come in a big plastic tub which will lats along time at the rate of one tablet a week. The only bad thing about these are that they do not dissolve in normal water at all, so if you want to get to them to dissolve you may have to boil water. Other than that they are quite useful.

I brought this pack for my hot tub and its a cheap ripoff.1. The indicator panel to tell you what colours you need to match seems to be printed off a cheap £30 epson printer and does not even match the colours on their own website! So no way to see what your results are if they worked.2. They dont work anyway. I dipped 3 strips across 3 days and even dipped one in vinegar (well below the ph!) and none of them changed colour at all – take a look at the photos. They all look the same and thts because the colour does not change whatsoever. You may as well dip any old bit of paper in there.3. Customer service was rubbish, didnt reply in more than 5 words at a time and then wouldnt even give me a refund or send new strips. Just sent me £2….AVOID AVOID AVOID

I want to start the review with the positive, the seller was very prompt at returning messages and offered either a return or a 20% refund. I couldn’t have asked for more from them as they are not the manufacturer! The product is not very good though, I bought this as recommended by lay z spa but once we put the tablets into the provided chemical dispenser and left overnight we woke up to find it had bleached our brand new hot tub. Not happy at all! The chlorine levels were at a safe level so I have no idea how this has happened. I have read this has happened to a few people, I am going to try a floating dispenser to see if that works better. I’m trying to contact the manufacturer to complain but so far no response from them.

I’ve been trying to use Chlorine tablets in my lazy spa for sometime and i’ve decided to switch back to the granules after several weeks of no success with these. Why is this you may ask? Well if you asked a handful of people how much salt they like on their popcorn or how they like their steak cooked most people would have a different answer. You make it to order! Now imagine the same situation but you only had 1 product.. rare steak and heavy salted popcorn, it wouldn’t work and this is the issue with the chlorine tablets. Your trying to guess the demands of your lazy spa using a pre made product. With the chlorine granules you take a dip test and depending on the colour you know how many grams to add to the water. With the tablets while you can adjust the floating dispenser by opening the little flaps to limit how much chlorine is released; the time in which this takes is much greater then the granules and you don’t really know how much is being released, i.e a new tablet compared to a 3 day old tablet is different in size and the amount its releasing. If your not too fused about keeping your lazy spa on the nose then yeah shove one of these in every 3 or 4 days but if you want your lazy spa fine tuned get the granules.

Last year got our 10ft pool with whole load of chemicals. Increase ph, decrease ph, chlorine etc… Still went green. Added this to the pool this year and so much easier! Chlorine levels seem to stabilise and other than algacide once in a while we’ve not had any issues. Admittedly, did change filter once more than last year, but I’d say we’ve left it pretty much to its own devices and it’s been fine. Emptied last week (for winter) and still crystal clear! Last year and this pool left for a week and turned green last year, stayed clear this year.Definitely recommend and will get tablets again for next year.

The clorine tablets case is great but the tablets don’t seem to disolve very well. Also the test strips aren’t exactly coming across very reliable: they give roughly the same reading everytime regardless of how many tablets and how long they’ve been in the pool for!? I stopped using these in my spa as while they do sanitise by adding chlorine they also make the water acidic which requires that I then treat with pH increaser. I’ve switched instead to just using the granules which don’t create this problem. the price/value for money is fine, but you might be better off using granules instead.

After struggling to keep my hot tub chemicals in balance and needing to dose up with chlorine granules daily. At last I have found a product that works!I had two problems. Chlorine levels dropping to negligible in around 24hrs and very cloudy water. I was adding chlorine granules and liquid clarifier to my hot tub every day. Since using this my water has cleared up like fresh water and my chlorine is maintained. I put two tablets into my 930l hot tub and leave the dosing gap fully open. The tablets last about three days.

I put 1-2 tablets in the floating dispenser which lasts about 3 days depending on use of hot tub (used in Lay Z Spa Monaco). I found that I needed to also purchase the DeepBlue clarifier as the tablets contain algaecide which I think is what made the water a bit cloudy..poured clarifier in and now have sparkly Deep blue too!!! Fast delivery, highly recommend for a simple way to maintain a lay z spa, very happy with my purchase. Don’t get your nose too close when opening the pot as it is a very strong smell!!!!

This is the first time using this brand on my pool. We have a 12 foot. The other brand I used, I generally kept topped up to at least 3 in the dispenser and the test strips indicated perfect levels. This was more value for money when I had to buy more as I needed more strip tests too. After looking through numerous reviews I decided to try. The dispenser is the same as the one I already have, but this one seems to shut up better than my other one which is a plus already because the tablets when they come out bleach the bottom of the pool.It says to keep the dispenser topped up, I’ve got 4 in, can fit more but I don’t want too much in, checked levels everyday and they are in perfect range. This is being used with an intex pump too.No problems to date and working just as well as the others I was using!

We’ve had nothing but problems since using these tablets. They leave a solid deposit which never dissolves and kept clogging up the filters on our inflatable hot tub. We almost gave up on the hot tub completely because it became such a hassle to keep clearing these deposits out. We haven’t used these since we realised how bad they were and since going back to our regular brand we’ve had absolutely no problems.

Seems to work on a very slow release method, as with the other reviewer the tablet is there the next morning, which brings me onto the big problem with this product. You get no instructions. Given you are dealing with Chlorine, most likely in a pool that kids will be playing in, having some sort of guide as to how much to use, what to expect etc would be nice. My guard was up immediately when the chlorine tablets arrived in a resealable plastic bag the likes of which you pick up in a supermarket. I would consider buying one of the more expensive models if im honest.

I brought these Chlorine tablets for my Canadian Spa. I normally use the liquid. But I ran out of it so I brought this instead. You need to put the tablets in a floater otherwise they sink to the bottom. And is way to contrated. If you buy these for your Spa Hot Tub buy a floater just beware if you have young children these might not be suitable as children can always touch or play with the floater. I highly recommend you getting the Chlorine liquid. If you want to be sure your Spa Hot Tub is safe to use within a hour.

They are very necessary for your hot tub, but do remember to take the holder out when you are using the tub. What can I say about the tablets they come in a big plastic tub which will lats along time at the rate of one tablet a week. My first mistakeBuy cheap buy twice My second mistake.There is nothing on here to say this product cannot be used with other chlorine products.Since getting these tablets Ive not been able to stabilise my water quality.Ive had to have my swimspa serviced early due to terrible water quality despite using these tablets thinking I was sanitising my pool.The engineers advised this pink buildup was bacteria.We will NEVER use here products again.They need to make it clear as well on here that these products should only be used if you use bromine in your pool, as all the products we have purchased are not to be used with chlorine, we have had chlorine tablets, Ph and alkalinity increaser.All a total waste of time and waste if moneyHydropool engineers have never heard of these and know not to recommend.Terrible product

This product did not get delivered on its estimated delivery date. But I assume that it was the postal services fault. I contacted the company and they were more than helpful when immediately sending a replacement. The product itself is exactly as advertised, a very simple, but effective device. The tablets are of great quality and come in a separate resealable bag but the smell is still pretty strong. 1 tablet has kept my 10 ft swimming pool crystal clear for a week at the time of writing this. Would greatly recommend.

Last year got our 10ft pool with whole load of chemicals. Increase ph, decrease ph, chlorine etc… Still went green. Added this to the pool this year and so much easier Chlorine levels seem to stabilise and other than algacide once in a while weve not had any issues. Admittedly, did change filter once more than last year, but Id say weve left it pretty much to its own devices and its been fine. Emptied last week for winter and still crystal clear Last year and this pool left for a week and turned green last year, stayed clear this year.Definitely recommend and will get tablets again for next year.
