Having read lots of great reviewed decided to give it a go. The day after spraying the moss on the patio was dead. Green mould on the patio wall was also gone next day picture shows sprayed and in sprayed section. However it has made very little impact on the black mould on the patio stones. I suspect that they key would be to get the patio cleaned them use the WF to keep it clean. So definitely some positive impact but I guess miracles take elbow grease.UPDATE. Paving stone images attached were taken two months apart. Its slow but I can see the improvement.

Wet and Forget does what it says, cleans surfaces which an algalfungal cover. I have used it on patio flagstones and slabs, UPVC window frames and sills and the UPVC parts of my conservatory. All with excellent results. Dilute to manufacturers recommendation, wet what youre cleaning thoroughly on a dull still day and sit back. Be warned the effect is NOT immediate. You have to be patient to the tune of several months. The change is imperceptible take before, during and after photos. A second treatment 6 months later will get rid of the more stubborn algal marks. Moss, algae, mould and some plants are killed between the slabsflags. The selfset Red Valerian seedlings between my flags are dying after the most recent spraying 16112020. My advice here is to not spray directly on to plants you dont wish to affect. Used neat as a spot treatment for black algal spots is recommended.

Use it to clean my concrete patio slabs. Mixed 5050 with water and spray on with a weed sprayer.It starts to work quickly. Rinse it of well after a few hours with a hose. Take care not to splash on clothes or plants as its pretty strong stuff.

Bought this after a recommendation from a relative for my new patio and driveway that were turning green with algae and it resolved the problem literally overnight. Also treated my fence plinths that showed similar results. I then tried it on a tarmac driveway with large amounts of moss and although it wasnt as quick as it was on the algae, we saw a visible improvement after a matter of days and a dramatic improvement after a week. The protection appears to last and we havent seen a return of algae so far. Fingers crossed it lasts but its certainly easier and more effective than jet washing.

I work as a gardener and algae on paths and patios is always a problem in shady areas. Moss build up on garden furniture and path edges is an issue too. Ive used a couple of different brands one of them was four times more expensive than this. Applied in the right conditions this shifts algae in a couple of days and kills light miss build up. I have a large patio area that was black with white lichen spots for years. I had it cleaned with a pressure water cleaner 5 years ago, and have kept it clean with Deep Blue ever since. I use it once a year, with an extra go in one small area in the shade that greens up over winter. It is so easy to apply just water on with a watering can on a sunny day, no scrubbing. Green areas are clean in a couple of days, and blacklichen areas back to stone coloured in a couple of weeks.

This is the second year I have used this product. It does get rid of green staining on my patio paving. Preferably you need a pressuresprayer to a watering can as it makes for more economical use. This you can purchase from Deep Blue, I bought the Spear and Jackson. Be careful to use it when conditions are dry as I got caught with an unexpected shower which meant a second treatment was needed in some places. It doesnt have a pungent smell, and dries quickly in warm weather. I would use it again for its convenience and effectiveness.

However the product says it can take some time to completely remove contamination and patience is required. I am about to retreat the patio so am still hoping for the best. I have been using this patio cleaner for about 5 years, Before this it used to be a very boring and slow job with a jet washer.If your patio is bad it is probably best to start off with a jet washer to clean it . It is important to ensure dry weather for a couple of days after you use it so it doesnt wash away. Other than that its hassle free and actually works like it says on the bottle.
