I have a patio sets that were laid around 3 years ago and cleaned last year with mild bleach a stiff broom. That took some time effort so this year I thought Id give this a go. I could see a significant difference the day after I applied the Deep Blue in a 61 mix, especially where I had only half finished some areas i.e. the dividing line was quite obvious. It had removed the green grey deposits, only leaving those areas on the slate that were pitted and so had gone quite black I double treated those areas today and await the results. So for me Im impressed with the cleaner. I picked up 5 litres in a sale for 12 and despite this being quite a lot more than cheap bleach and elbow grease, Ill be happy if thats all I need to do to it for this year. Time will tell of course. If I could figure out how to upload an image Id do so to show the difference between the area treated vs untreated…..

At last, a patio cleaner worthy of the name. I have a Kota stone patio aka Indian slate or sandstone that was laid 20 years ago. Unfortunately, despite being regularly cleaned with a pressure washer, it had become disfigured by black spots caused by algae etc. Amazingly, a single application of this product, diluted 1 part to 4 parts water and applied using a pressure sprayer, has left my patio as clean as when it was first laid. We have been using this stuff for about 3 years and I would say if you are only using it twice a year it will take that length of time to really become effective . We no longer have green lichen on our patio even after winter and the black spot mould we had has slowly been eradicated . The product is safe for pets once dried . Would advise buying a proper sprayer that you can strap on so you get even coverage .

I love this stuff, was amazed how it gradually lifted the colour of my patio, I didnt realize my paving slabs were beige I had always thought they were grey. I think with this product patience is the key, algae and moss disappears quite quickly but took up to 6 months to lift the actual colour of the slabs. However I wasnt expexting such a dramatic change and it was well worth the wait. It does tend to leave rust type stains on some surfaces so do a test patch first

Used this to remove blackspot from the rear patio. Power washed the whole area first to get rid of the last years grime, then sprayed the Sodium Hypochlorite at a 5050 water ratio on approx 3sq yards at a time, left it for 30 min and washed off, excellent result. Then repeated over whole patio at similar sized areas and could not fault it. Have only used about 8 of the 20 litres that I ordered so will be ready for next year, if the blackspot returnsTBH I think I could have done the whole patio in one go and not waited the 30 min however the problem of continually shifting garden furniture pots and plants made that a tad impractical.Dont have a before after image but this shows how clean it is, almost like new

So easy to use, it say spray on, but I made the mixture up in an old kitchen bowl and used a sweeping brush to brush it on, I did about 50 sq mtr in no time and still had a bit left from the 2.5ltr. 2 weeks in and you can see the difference, the patio is a lot lighter.I usually jet wash my patio, to do the same surface area would take me about 56 hours, and loads of water and hard work, with wet and forget I had it done in less than 2 hours, hardly any water and the same amount of arm work. It is also less messy.We just kept the dog away until it was dry hes been fine.

Spent quite a lot of money on new light coloured patio 2 years ago. Being surrounded by conifers I have watched my patio slowly turning green over this winter. Having heard horror stories about using pressure washers on patios I thought Id look for something less aggressive. When I saw the pictures on the front of the container I was sceptical. In the spring I sprayed it with Deep Blue. It really worked, there were a couple of areas that had to be sprayed a couple of times. After this there are no patches of green and my patio looks as good as day when fitted. My patio is approx. 40m2 and I used 12 bottle after 2 winters. Would highly recommend.

Used WetForget to clean brick pave driveway natural stone patio. Easy to make up solution but you need to make up a device for your hand held garden sprayer to make the handle longer as the weight of the bottle leaning over is tough on your back. followed the instructions and used a light brush to spread the liquid. The indian stone started to turn light brown so got the hose pipe on it straight away. When it dried the brown stains were there and the original marks still there with no improvement. Sorry we tried this on our 4year old indian stone patio.

I used this product to clean my patio which is made of Indian stone and also my driveway which is PlasPave block paving. I applied it while the slabs were completely dry and no rain was expected for at least 8 hours. There was soiling everywhere but not heavy. I mixed it at a four to one ratio of water to cleaner and applied it with a watering can and saturated the area. I scrubbed it gently with a brush while applying it even though the instructions state that you dont have to. I just wanted to make sure that it went into the crevices ok.Within an hour of it drying you could see that the green had gone and at that point the patio looked massively better but just a bit dirty.48 hours later and the patio looks first class and Ive done nothing else to it. It has almost rejuvenated itself. The dirt has just gone.Like many I was dubious about a product such as this with regard to the claims but hats off to the makers because it is a fantastic product. Just follow the instructions and it will work just fine. It is non acid so it isnt eating into anything and I certainly have no desire to return to the days of jet washing which I used to with my other Yorkstone patio because although the jet washing made it look ok for a while afterwards the colour was being sucked out of the slabs and more small holes were being blasted into the surface to allow the mould and algae to quickly return. Another huge bonus with this product is that youre not blasting away at the grouting or cement in between the paving. A damn sight easier and quicker than jet washing as wellJust be careful that the solution doesnt come into contact with any grass or plants and if if you have pets wait until the surface is completely dry before letting them out on to it.An excellent product that far exceeded my expectations and does what it says on the container.

Bought this after reading a mix of reviews. Mixed 2.5 litres of product to 20 litres of water. Then went after my unsightly and slimy blue green algae, blitzing all in my path, my fence , patio, kerb stones, render base brickwork and hoped for the best. Next day, the blue green mess was dead and I swept this up with ease, mainly as I like things tidy and presentable. There is also a remission of moss build up on my wooden fence and brickwork. I used this to kill black lichen stains and my garden paths and patio. I diluted 3 to 1 and it worked vey well. I had been using Lithofin, which is about the same price for 1L and its only a 5 solution. ie., this is only 115th of the Lithofin price. To be fair, since this stuff is very strong and potentially dangerous, I had to buy protective clothing gloves and goggles but they cost less than 10 so I am still much better off financially.Decanting to a smaller container was pretty messy the first few times but became easier when the container was not so full. Its certainly true that its more hassle to deal with than Lithofin, and there was definitely some spillage, but it is well worth it.Addendum I went to use the stuff Id bought a year or so earlier and discovered it had gone off. There was not even a trace of the chlorine smell and it was totally useless. Apparently this is a fact of life, not a product defect, so , the lesson is to only buy what you need for immediate use. Even if, like me, you onlyy use half the container, its still a bargain.

I had a rendered exterior wall which was becoming quite stained. One spray of Deep Blue and some brushing has returned it to its original state. It has also eradicated the liverwort which used to appear between slabs on my patio and dealt with green discolouration on the window seals of my car. Treatments on exterior stonework paths need to be repeated about every couple of months but the product dilutes 15 and lasts well.

Great on decking, canopy and green patios, fences, polytunnels….For really green areas dont dilute the wet and forget too much. There is not much point using wet and forget if it is going to rain. This works best in the summer. But generally green comes up in the winter, so check for a window of at least 24 hours with no rain.

It seems to be working really well the more time goes on the cleaner the stones become. Ive even done my neighbours.So easy to apply and its not damaging the filler in between which jet washing was.Itll be a test over winter if our patio doesnt go green. This patio cleaner is amazing, mix it with water and swill it onto your patio. My yard grows green slime mould every year throughout winter. One tub of this and it looks like the yard has been jet washed. As an added bonus it kills all the weeds that grow through the cracks in the flags. Great product.

Weve used this for years. It was formerly marketed as BRINTONS but they seem to now be putting the emphasis on Deep Blue.Our house is surrounded by steps and York stone paving slabs, which become lethal as a thin layer of algae builds up on them and with the slightest sprinkling of rain turns them into a skating rink. One way of dealing with this might be pressure hosing, but in time that blasts out the mortar and weeds flourish, so I use Deep Blue which really kills off the algae and gradually also returns darked stone slabs to their original colour. Excellent product and we got it at an excellent price on Deep Blue, together with fast delivery. Well done all round.
