A few years ago i invested in the complete kit, which required a lot of effort to get the alkaline, chlorine, and bromine levels correct. These tabs work wonders, put inside a suitable container and change every 2-3 days. I’ve also invested in a net and PH strips. After three weeks the water looks and smells clean. Perfect !

Just purchased a hot tub. Never had one before. The tablets were blue. Is this correct or should they be white. The tablets don’t dissolve. I’ve only used one at a time but the chlorine level is low. Should I be using more than 1 tablets. Only had the hot tub 1 week, used 4x. When the jets on there is lots of foam, don’t know why? I thought I just put one tablet in the dispenser and left but the chemical levels are not correct and I’m worried about the foaming. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Stupidly decided to put the 8ft pool up in the garden this year before remembering how much of a faff it is to put away again. Still, little’n loved it and i definitely made the most of it with the nice weather too. Decided to try and leave it out for a bit though and knew id need some chemicals to avoid draining and re-filling. Had no idea what i needed, or what was best, so a little online research led me to believe these were a quick win for my situation. Found this, seemed reasonably priced compared to others and reviews were ok. Arrived, popped it open, put a single tablet in and left it to float about whenever we werent using it. Pool was covered too to stop debris landing in it constantly as well.Im no expert but i think it worked a treat? Pool stayed lovely and clear, no gunk or slime build up anywhere and it smelled clean. A little chemically, like a swimming pool kinda scent, but reassuringly familiar as clean, if that makes sense. Took it out whenever we dived in, popped it back in after. I got over 3 weeks out of a single tablet which just slowly dissolved and did its thing. Testing strips were easy to use, take one out, dip it, wait for the colours to update and compare against chart. With the treatment in, my readings were always spot on so i assume it was working as intended. Despite being able to tell it had stuff in, we had no issues with burning eyes or anything like that ether. Plenty left for if we ever have more good weather too. Cant complain with this at all, simple, effective and saved me a tonne of hassle messing about with the pool. Would definitely recommend.It is advisable to remove all chemicals some 3-10 days in advance of draining though, i need to let mine drain predominantly in the garden and didnt want to kill any plants or wildlife, so after the weather turned, i took this out, left the pool covered for 4/5 days until it no longer smelled fresh and then drained. All my grass and surrounding plants are perfectly fine so seems no harm done.

Would get again as I think these are easy to use compared to those kits that you have to add different chemicals to. After some research I decided to put 2 tablets in my LayZSpa Miami ChemConnect dispenser today after draining and refilling it (800 litres) and within around 2hrs my spa was at the perfect chlorine strength using the dip test strips and is ready to use. May drop down to 1 tablet next time once these 2 have dissolved as it will have had its loading dose and see how that goes. But already far easier to use than mixing up the granulated chlorine and trying to get it right using that mixture. Must use a dispenser though, don’t add them just to the spa water directly!

We previously used chlorine granuals and the PH balancers etc which were tricky to use and measure out, and which took time to do too. We then swapped to using these and they are fantastic. You just pop one tablet into the dispenser, open the ‘door’ of the dispenser just a fraction and the rest is done. Sparkling water every time. One tablet lasts us 2-3 days. If I had a negative, it would be that it’s sometimes hard to get the chlorine balance just right – the door to our dispenser has to be open just right not to raise the levels too much. But that’s more of an issue with the dispenser rather than these tablets. I definitely recommend them for an easy life.
