Application Instructions:
1. Maintain pH levels between 7.2 and 7.6 for optimal results. Use our PH plus or PH minus products if needed to adjust pH levels outside this range.
2. Keep free chlorine residuals within the recommended range of 3-5mg/l (ppm) for spas and 1-3mg/l (ppm) for pools. For newly filled spas, administer an initial shock dose of chlorine based on water volume to kickstart the sanitization process.
3. Directly apply the granules to pools or spas above 20 degrees C. For lower temperatures, pre-dissolve the granules in water before adding to the pool or spa while the pumps are running for effective distribution.
4. Monitor chlorine levels and repeat dosing as necessary to maintain the desired chlorine concentration.
5. Shock dose your spa periodically, especially after heavy use, to purge any excess contaminants and maintain water clarity.
Dose Rates:
– Medium hot tub (1,000 litres/220 gallons): 2g to increase chlorine by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6g for a 3mg/l (ppm) boost.
– Large hot tub (1,500 litres/330 gallons): 3g for 1mg/l (ppm) increase or 9g for 3mg/l (ppm) increase.
– Small pool (40,000 litres): 80g for 1mg/l (ppm) rise or 240g for 3mg/l (ppm) rise.
– Medium pool (60,000 litres): 120g for 1mg/l (ppm) increase or 360g for 3mg/l (ppm) increase.
– Large pool (80,000 litres): 160g for 1mg/l (ppm) rise or 480g for 3mg/l (ppm) rise.

I ordered this item on the tuesday evening and it was here by courier the thursday morning which was great.the type of chemicals and amount is what i ordered by it isnt the DeepBlue brand. It is made by a company called SCP.I am new to using chemicals for a spa so i have to assume that it is still right and will work ok but I had ordered this thinking it was the same brand as the DeepBlue starter kit i had previously bought. I wanted it to be the same so that i could be sure that the instructions were the same as what i have gotten used to.Hopefully there will not be any problem with it but i am rather disappointed as i hate it when the brand and product that is sent is not what was advertised.I will update this review once we have used it a few times and can vouch for its quality.

Just received these granules and whilst they are in the DeepBlue packaging they are very different from the original granules that I have purchased in the starter kit directly from here.DeepBlue granules look round amp coated like small granules, these look like chalky flakes or small rocks.This is clearly not the same product.I am not sure if its the seller or DeepBlue have actually changed their chlorine, but as a consumer I expect chlorine that is branded as DeepBlue to be identical in all tubs.

I would not recommend these granules at all, the chlorine level dissipated very quickly, even without the hot tub being use it went murky within two days. All other alkaline and ph levels are fine, and Id never had this before with my previous brand FiChlor. Ill be sticking to FiChlor in future, I inly went with this because Id run out and the delivery was quick, lesson learnt

After ordering granules I was sent tablets. Contacted the company and was answered by an automated email, which was both annoying and frustrating. It wasnt until I sent my third email that I got a response that contained information and was told that someone else had changed their order and so were given the last pack of granules and so I was sent tablets. I was told to crush the tablets and that would treat the water the same as the granules. Chlorine levels have not been right since using this. Just been and bought the same ones from The Range and my chemical levels are showing better. If you have animals and cant get rid of tge urine smells they create, simply add a small amount 2 tea spoon to a hot bucket of water and let it dissolve tye swill the area. It will remove 100 of the smell. Also add a little to mop bucket when mopping the floor incase the dogs have walked any in.
