1. Maintain pH levels between 7.2 and 7.6 for optimal results. Use our PH plus or PH minus products if needed to adjust pH levels outside this range.

2. Keep free chlorine residuals within the recommended range of 3-5mg/l (ppm) for spas and 1-3mg/l (ppm) for pools. For newly filled spas, administer an initial shock dose of chlorine based on water volume to kickstart the sanitization process.

3. Directly apply the granules to pools or spas above 20 degrees C. For lower temperatures, pre-dissolve the granules in water before adding to the pool or spa while the pumps are running for effective distribution.

4. Monitor chlorine levels and repeat dosing as necessary to maintain the desired chlorine concentration.

5. Shock dose your spa periodically, especially after heavy use, to purge any excess contaminants and maintain water clarity.

Dose Rates:

– Medium hot tub (1,000 litres/220 gallons): 2g to increase chlorine by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6g for a 3mg/l (ppm) boost.

– Large hot tub (1,500 litres/330 gallons): 3g for 1mg/l (ppm) increase or 9g for 3mg/l (ppm) increase.

– Small pool (40,000 litres): 80g for 1mg/l (ppm) rise or 240g for 3mg/l (ppm) rise.

– Medium pool (60,000 litres): 120g for 1mg/l (ppm) increase or 360g for 3mg/l (ppm) increase.

– Large pool (80,000 litres): 160g for 1mg/l (ppm) rise or 480g for 3mg/l (ppm) rise.

    This is not the product you will receive. I received Castle Hot Tubs, if you want this product I will suggest you contact Castle Hot tubs and request this brand ( if ordered through Wilton Bradley ) otherwise you wil get their own version sent to you. It is very similar except it doesn’t dissolve as ‘nice’ as Deep blue. Castle Hot tubs where extremely apologetic and explained why this has happened, but I am just pre warning you this isn’t the product you will receive.

BOTH !!!The reason I say both is tablets are great for sticking in your bobber or floating device in your pool or hot tub … they slowly release the chloring so you can keep it sanitised for a week so you’re not checking it all the time. However sometimes if you have changed the water or something else has happened and you need to sort the chloring level immediately then granuels are an instant hit and fix and also a good way to get levels back immediately. These are the SMALL tablets … About the size of a 2p piece and about an inch thick.

After an 11hr day I did not want to (or expect to) be sweeping the floor. It still smells strongly of bleach when I come in 😞 That aside, it’s a good product.

    Does the job but seem to need a bigger dose to keep the levels right. You tend to think chlorine is chlorine, but this definitely seems weaker. It’s cheap, but in hindsight seems a bit of a false economy. Never had any problems with any of their other products. Maybe a duff batch?

    Great value bulk buy which is much cheaper than buying branded chemicals for my inflatable hot tub. It is obviously a large and bulky item so I kept my old smaller tub to transfer to make it easier, but any old tub you have you could do the same and it is worth it for the better price bulk amount.
