Application Instructions:

To ensure the best results, follow these simple steps for applying Deep Blue Pro Stabilised Chlorine Granules:

1. Maintain the pH level within the recommended range of 7.2 to 7.6 using pH plus or minus products as needed.

2. Keep free chlorine residuals within the specified range of 3 to 5mg/l for spas and 1 to 3mg/l for swimming pools. For new spa fills, apply an initial shock dose as per the guidelines.

3. Apply the granules directly to the water or pre-dissolve them in a clean container if the temperature is below 20 degrees C. Add the solution to the pool or spa with the pumps running.

4. Monitor chlorine levels and repeat the dose application if necessary to maintain the desired levels.

5. Periodically shock dose your spa to eliminate any excess contamination, especially after heavy use.

? Medium hot tub (1,000 liters) – 2g to increase chlorine by 1mg/l or 6g for 3mg/l

? Large hot tub (1,500 liters) – 3g to increase chlorine by 1mg/l or 9g for 3mg/l

    After ordering granules I was sent tablets. Contacted the company and was answered by an automated email, which was both annoying and frustrating. It wasnt until I sent my third email that I got a response that contained information and was told that someone else had changed their order and so were given the last pack of granules and so I was sent tablets. I was told to crush the tablets and that would treat the water the same as the granules. I was also offered a price difference refund of 4 which I thought was reasonable, but when we tried to crush the tablets and use them, it didnt work as advised and so I had to email again requesting either the granules or a refund and again got the automated system.I then received a message to say that a refund had been arranged through hereIf it wasnt for the fact that I was on a tight time limit for the product, I probably wouldnt have found it all so annoying, but I was, so i did

    If you have animals and cant get rid of tge urine smells they create, simply add a small amount 2 tea spoon to a hot bucket of water and let it dissolve tye swill the area. It will remove 100 of the smell. Also add a little to mop bucket when mopping the floor incase the dogs have walked any in.

    Just received these granules and whilst they are in the DeepBlue packaging they are very different from the original granules that I have purchased in the starter kit directly from here.DeepBlue granules look round amp coated like small granules, these look like chalky flakes or small rocks.This is clearly not the same product.I am not sure if its the seller or DeepBlue have actually changed their chlorine, but as a consumer I expect chlorine that is branded as DeepBlue to be identical in all tubs.

It is made by a company called SCP.I am new to using chemicals for a spa so i have to assume that it is still right and will work ok but I had ordered this thinking it was the same brand as the DeepBlue starter kit i had previously bought.     Ive only given 4 stars rather than the 5 it deserves because the product was advertised as DeepBlue Chlorine and is, in fact, the vendors own label brand.That said it performs the same job for the same quantity added. It doesnt dissolve quite as quickly as the DeepBlue Granules I started with, but I can put up with a couple of extra stirs for the value for money. No idea why they dont advertise it as it is….it is a good product and would get 5 stars from me if they did.
