We have old 12 tiles on a patio with 25 asbestos so they are absorbent and cant be moved without considerable expense. The liquid removed all of it with only a little hard scrubbing in the recessed gaps between the tiles. The black algae had previosly defied a pressure washer and an electric scrubber.

Possibly still early days, but having been sprayed on to the block paving a few weeks ago and having had a good mix of sunny days and heavy rain since I was hoping to see some definite improvement. There does seem to be some signs that the cleaner is working, but very little impact of the lichen, which is the main reason for trying this solution. Have tried Deep Blue before which did a very good job on general cleaning the brick paving including killing the moss and algae but had no impact at all on the lichen. So far the wet and forget does not seem to be as effective as the Deep Blue at general cleaning and again no real signs that it is working any better on the lichen. Perhaps it need longer and a second treatment

I have used wet and forget on my large Patio and on our Garden furniture….It really works and keeps working. We re spray every 12 months and this keeps the moss, Algae etc clear. In fact the furniture looks as good as new.We also use Wet and forget on the roof of our RV and this stops any green algae forming on it and around windows solar panels etc etc. We checked with the manufacturer and they confirmed that it can be used on GRP. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend, just follow the application instructions and you will be happy with the results.

I wanted to get rid of the moss on our tarmac drive. After some investigation I decided to purchase this Deep Blue plus XP moss remover.Having mixed it as stated on the can, I poured it over the moss using a watering can. The moss went brown within 24hrs. I did notice a very very slight change in the shade of our tarmac hardly perceptible where the product had been on the drive, so I bought an extra can and did the whole drive 100sq.m. I brushed off the majority of moss a couple days later and the few remnants are still dead and brown coloured some two months later. I will use the leftover moss remover again next spring.I am pleased with the results and would recommend it.Update. The moss is still dead after four months and much of it has come off the drive. Also my patio normally goes green with algae over winter. This will get a treatment in the spring as I have noticed that where I slopped the watering can on the patio,when putting the Deep Blue Plus on my drive the algae has not grown at all.

I bought this product primarily to put down on my patio after Id given it a pressure wash. There were a few stubborn dark areas I wanted to see if I could get rid of.But I also had a lot of moss and algae growing outside the front of my garage. I didnt pressure wash the garage area because its in a block away from my house and I cant get water and power there for the pressure washer, so I just treated the area and left it be.That was at the start of August. Its now the start of November and going out to my garage you can notice the difference between the treated and untreated areas. See the photo I uploadedI think Ill probably have to do another application to get the real thick stuff killed off. But all in all it does seem to be working. If youre after immediate results this probably isnt the product for you. If youre happy to apply and leave them Id recommend it.

Used it in my pressure washer auto dose adaptor, sprayed on and left for around 10 to 15 minutes, then as I pressure wash the patio it came up really well and look fantastic when it dried. Even managed to get rid of some really heavy staining on the stones that normally would not come up with a pressure washer. Would absolutely highly recommend this although be careful because it is like acid and if you do splash it on your skin you will feel a little bit of burning

WF sprayed on easily, made some improvement quickly but then over the next few days effects became more evident. I have used this product for about three years now. It does a fantastic job BUT be patient. The result is not instant. It may take a few weeks to show that it is working. I use this on my drive and patio and I couldnt be more pleased. If you have a severe problem with algae and mould you should apply another dose after a few months. As I said, the effect is not instant but the weather will clean it up nicely and then reapply next year.

Deep Blue does exactly as described. I did have to separately purchase suitable spraying equipment, but that is to be expected.The picture attached shows the difference from where I sprayed one side of the patio last summer, the bottom part of the picture that now looks like new and the top part of the picture where I didnt bother.I would highly recommend this product if you do not need an instant result or are using it as a preventative measure.

I was sceptical, even after reading the great reviews but having used it on my patio last weekend, Im really pleased and impressed with the results. It has removed the dark colour and green algae from the paving and has killed the moss on the paving and tarmac as well. It didnt damage my plants strangely enough which Im thankful for. It took a few days for the results to show but it cleaned all the mould and algae from my natural stone raised beds and patio. All the natural colours have returned and I didnt have to scrub them. I noticed on some of the negative reviews some people are complaining it didnt work on moss. It does kill moss in my garden turned it brown but I would still have to clear the dead moss away. Correct me if I am wrong but Deep Blue doesnt actually say its for clearing moss just algae and mould

Ive got to say that I only used this last weekend our terrible weather had made my patio get infested by large moss patches.I followed the instructions and sprayed the affected areas the green moss is already turning a yellowbrown colour and in some areas its disappeared completely. I thought I would give this a go but didnt hold out much hope that it would lighten some really dark patio slabs that were in a state of badly needing some sprucing up. I sprayed the whole lot once nothing much seemed to happen. Anyway gave them three sprays over the spring and since then over the weeks they have lightened up fantastically well better than I could have hoped. I sprayed Deep Blue on a pathway that wasnt so dark looking and it only needed one application and that lightened up marvellously. I wont be without it now l have a small dog so I make sure she doesnt go anywhere near it till its well and truly dried.

I have a resin drive and another resin area outside my back door. The shady areas get green and an application of Deep Blue clears it 100. I use a pressure sprayer and this is fairly economical with the fluid. Needs doing every year.

I used to jet wash to get rid of the green not realising that it actually spreads the problem. My lovely patio became a green and black mess. A friend recommended Deep Blue so thought Id give it a go. I waited for the right weather when my patio was dry and no rain forecast. I diluted 1 part WF to 4 parts water given the problem was so bad. Using a low pressure sprayer I soaked all fence panels, the wall, gate and patio. I sprayed extra on particularly bad areas. Once finished I made myself something to eat and watched a bit of tv. To my total shock, several hours later there was a dramatic difference in the appearance of my patio. Im absolutely gobsmacked. I thought I would have to wait at leat until it rained next to see any difference. You can see from the photographs how quickly it cleared my patio and the wall. There are still some stubborn stains but I have faith these will soon be gone too. Ive shared before and after photos with friends and theyre putting their orders in. I will definitely be using this on an annual basis. I DEFINITELY recommend.

My drive and path turns into a thick mossy green carpet over the winter, the patio paths turn green slippy, have used this product for the last two years with miraculous results. I definitely recommend Deep Blue Patio Wizard.Our 5 year old kitchen extension roof and dormer roof faces northwest and was beginning to look a bit tatty and green with moss, algae and with the odd spots of lichen. I looked at several other brands of patioroof cleaner and chose Patio Wizard partly due to reviews and partly because it appears to come in a stronger solution than others so proved better value for money.I diluted it according to the instructions and usied the Spear and Jackson 5L Pressure Sprayer to apply. Although application was made by spraying out various windows to reach the different parts of the roof it was very easy. Almost immediately the green algae disappeared I didnt really believe it but it was quite astonishing. The moss lost its colour and died within a 23 days. Most of the lichen too died but I think a few hard to reach patches may need further treatment. Both roofs look smarter and newer. The dead moss is relatively easy to remove depending on where it is, the lichen however is more tricky but hopefully it will degrade, detach and blow away soon.All in all I am very impressed and would definitely use again.

I was sceptical about this as Id tried almost everything to rid my patio of black, white and green spots. But I used a 4 to 1 ratio with water and after leaving to work for just 30 mins I power washed it off yo find all the spots gone. It didnt do anything for some rust marks we have but I may try a less diluted formula. Be warned tho it doesnt last long.

Three stars might be unfair here, as spring has only just really got underway and the product has not really had a fair chance to show its true colours. I have used the product on a couple of patios and the thicker moss has certainly been hurt but not killed. Having said that, the moss or most of it did come out fairly easily although I did have to resort to a brass tined brush made for the purpose. I used the product twice on the thicker moss so I expected it to die but by no means all of it did. For me the jury is still out. I need to use the product on my red tiled drive and then make a judgement. I will update this review and its star rating sometime over the late spring when I have more experience using it.

I got this to use on the block paving at both the front and back of my house and the patio plus a couple of concrete paths at my parents house.The difference is amazing. Overnight the slimy green algae that had been building up has gone and a few weeks later has still not returned. Dad says hes also noticed a slight lightening of the black spots that are all over his patio.I tried the last bit of a mix on a part of my wooden fence which hasnt been touched in probably 56 years probably longer and overnight the green was gone.Ive just ordered a second bottle to finish my drive and for dad to put a second application on his patio for the stubborn black spots.
