Before application, it’s essential to ensure that the pH levels of your pool or hot tub are in the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. This sets the perfect foundation for the algaecide to work its magic and maintain a healthy water balance.

If you notice any visible signs of algae on the liner, simply brush them off before adding the algaecide to the water. For optimal effectiveness, make sure that the free chlorine level is within the range of 1-3mg/l (ppm). In case of heavy algae presence, a shock dose to achieve a free chlorine level of 5mg/l (ppm) is recommended for quick and thorough treatment.

Application is a breeze – just add the algaecide to the water while the pump(s) are running. For even distribution, it’s best to pour the algaecide near the water inlets, allowing it to circulate efficiently throughout the pool or hot tub.

After the initial dose, maintaining your pool or hot tub becomes a simple routine. A weekly dose of the algaecide ensures that algae growth is continuously inhibited, keeping your water clear and inviting for leisurely swims or relaxing soaks.

Our algaecide comes with convenient dosing rates tailored to different water volumes. For hot tubs containing 1,000 litres (220 gallons) of water, a mere 15ml is all it takes for effective algae removal, followed by 8ml for the initial dose, and a minimal 2ml for the weekly maintenance dose.

For small pools with 40,000 litres (8,800 gallons) of water, our algaecide requires 600ml for algae removal, 300ml for the initial dose, and 60ml for the weekly maintenance dose to keep your pool pristine and algae-free.

For medium-sized pools holding 60,000 litres (13,200 gallons) of water, the dosing rates are 900ml for algae removal, 450ml for the initial dose, and 90ml for the weekly maintenance dose. With these precise measurements, you can ensure that your pool remains a sparkling oasis for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
