As soon as you open the individual little tablets the smell is just amazing, i love it. These calgon tablets are super easy to use, you just add them in the draw with your usual detergent and thats it, as the wash cycle is on the tablet does its job. It has most certainly improved the look of my laundry as well as I used to get brown stains on some of my washing but these have disappeared too. I wasnt too impressed the first time I used this as I was looking for immediate results However, over the next couple of days the application became easier and the results are beyond what I had hoped for. The stone slabs in the garden have come up as new and I am totally satisfied. It is quite hard work as I did not want to use a power spray because of the amount of flowers and shrubs around so I painted it on with a brush. I never really expected this product to work, as my patio was in a very bad state, and I was more or less resigned to the fact that it would have to be renewed.I tried out a small area first, and was delighted that the black mould started to disappear before my eyes. However, nothing was happening to the white spots. I left it overnight, then used a wire brush on the white spots, which came off quite easily.I have now cleaned about 50 slabs, and have bought some more of the cleaning product so that I can do the rest when weather permits. I looked at other well known black spot products theyd need to be outstanding to justify the price difference.Sprayed this on a block paved driveway with a garden sprayer overnight pressure washed it off the next day. Blocks came up really well but might need a few goes on a heavily spotted driveway. Ours was cleaned about 2 years ago Ive washed it every now then with the pressure washer so it wasnt really bad.This stuff does stink though, very bleachy as its sodium hydrochloride so its best used overnight or when its not going to annoy anyone.Ive only used this where needed and not the whole of the driveway, for the price its good value and will use it again but it cant be used near plants or aquatic life or where it will drain into them.

I noticed a difference after the first use it smelt horrible to begin with but as the wash progressed it smelt SO much better. Ive had black spots on the patio for years that the power washer just couldnt shift, this stuff lifted it in seconds. As soon as you apply it you can see the spots disappear. Leave it for a couple of hours and rinse away with nothing more than a hose. If you are covering a reasonably large patio and you want the product to go further it is definitely better to buy a pump sprayer, I ended up buying it twice as I just used a watering can on the first application and it didnt stretch to the whole patio. Id definitely recommend this product the patio stone looks as good as new.

Its a bit pricey but does the job a treat I did my front driveway and was so happy with the results.I went on to treat my sandstone garden patio. When I ran out, I just wanted the job to be done and so I tried household bleach on the last few slabs. The household bleach barely touched the blackspots. Ultimate blackspot remover is a bit expensive but well worth the spend. Ive just ordered another 5 litres.

Wed forgotten what it used to look like…It took two coats sprayed on and we had to be super careful near our plants, but our Indian stone is transformed to new The photo is just after one coat… it looks even better now. Its potent stuff, so use a mask with a filter and keep away from pets and plants. We did try bleach and scrubbing method first, but it was such hard graft with little results, this stuff is what miracles are made of We now need to seal our patio to stop it getting into such a mess.

I used to use Sainsburys own brand limescale preventer, but once when it was out of stock, I bought Calgon and Ive never looked back its better by far. Its better not only for limescale prevention, but keeps the washing machine freshsmelling as well. I find I can get better value for money by getting a larger box on eBay.

I have been using Calgon tablets for many years, and have been happy with the product. What happened This product is so strong smelling that it is unpleasant. Just unwrapping the tablet is unpleasant as a very strong perfumed smell hits you. I hang the laundry outside, on a long line , to dry. So it should be lovely and fresh smelling at the end of the day. Not so, since I started using the new tablets. Lots of people are allergic, or sensitive , to strong smells and perfumes. Not just smelling it, but also against the skin. Surely a product that is used to keep the washing machines clean, especially as it is designed to go in with the laundry, should have minimum of perfume. I am not happy at all. Using the tablets , my clothes feel uncomfortable to wear as they reek. Going to bed in a freshly made bed is so unpleasant and I cant relax, as it reeks. And no, I have not changed any other products. The only new thing is the latest box of Calgon tablets. I stopped using the tablets yesterday, I have quite a lot left in the box, and guess what……. The clean laundry is lovely ones again. Do I get a refund if tablets has been usedIf this is the new Calgon, then can you please introduce a version for sensitive skin, one without added perfume

I looked at other well known black spot products theyd need to be outstanding to justify the price difference.Sprayed this on a block paved driveway with a garden sprayer overnight pressure washed it off the next day. Blocks came up really well but might need a few goes on a heavily spotted driveway. Ours was cleaned about 2 years ago Ive washed it every now then with the pressure washer so it wasnt really bad.This stuff does stink though, very bleachy as its sodium hydrochloride so its best used overnight or when its not going to annoy anyone.Ive only used this where needed and not the whole of the driveway, for the price its good value and will use it again but it cant be used near plants or aquatic life or where it will drain into them.

I wouldnt even rate one starThis was a 1415 strength when batched. However no batch date on the product and i required it at this strength and order extra as a precaution. The job required only 20ltrs but 40 was used as the concentrated amount was certainly not 1415 strength. It cost me time and money and certainly will not be using this company for my supplies.

Ive had black spots on the patio for years that the power washer just couldnt shift, this stuff lifted it in seconds. As soon as you apply it you can see the spots disappear. Leave it for a couple of hours and rinse away with nothing more than a hose. If you are covering a reasonably large patio and you want the product to go further it is definitely better to buy a pump sprayer, I ended up buying it twice as I just used a watering can on the first application and it didnt stretch to the whole patio. Id definitely recommend this product the patio stone looks as good as new.

I have been using Calgon tablets for many years, and have been happy with the product. What happened This product is so strong smelling that it is unpleasant. Just unwrapping the tablet is unpleasant as a very strong perfumed smell hits you. I hang the laundry outside, on a long line , to dry. So it should be lovely and fresh smelling at the end of the day. Not so, since I started using the new tablets. Lots of people are allergic, or sensitive , to strong smells and perfumes. Not just smelling it, but also against the skin. Surely a product that is used to keep the washing machines clean, especially as it is designed to go in with the laundry, should have minimum of perfume. I am not happy at all. Using the tablets , my clothes feel uncomfortable to wear as they reek. Going to bed in a freshly made bed is so unpleasant and I cant relax, as it reeks. And no, I have not changed any other products. The only new thing is the latest box of Calgon tablets. I stopped using the tablets yesterday, I have quite a lot left in the box, and guess what……. The clean laundry is lovely ones again. Do I get a refund if tablets has been usedIf this is the new Calgon, then can you please introduce a version for sensitive skin, one without added perfume

I use these for 2 reasons 1 to try and stop limescale build up as this is a notorious hard water area and you can grow stalagmites in a fortnight And 2 to try and stop the smelly machine syndrome. These tablets work well but they are very expensive.

My only concern is that the instructions say to use it in the drawer with the washing powder but I use a washing capsule in the drum so have just popped the tablet in with that too

I have used this product several times , and even promote it to customers .My last job was very tasking as the patio was heavily impregnated with black and white spot,My customers expected a mirical as they saw my previous photos ,May I suggest to your customers, consider the possibility of carrying out a few attempts, so therefore consider the 2 bottle offer as you may have to wait 5 days to continue your project and that can be very frustrating for impatient customers .Great product.
